Nevada Brothel Owner Pimps for Ron Paul

Campaigning through Northern Nevada today, Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul picked up the enthusiastic support of Nevada brothel owner Dennis Hof.

After sitting through a 20-minute press conference with Paul, Hof vowed to put up a collection box outside the door of his Moonlight Bunny Ranch brothel to take up contributions for the candidate who he says, "Makes a lot of sense, doesn't he?"

"I'll do it today," he said. "I'll get all the Bunnies together and we can raise him some money. I'll put up a collection box outside the door. They can drop in $1 dollar, $5 dollar contributions. What a great way for the working girls to support Ron Paul. It's just the right thing to do."

Paul's campaign was surprised to see Hof, flanked by two prostitutes, emerge from a limousine outside of Lawlor Events Center this morning. They arrived with MSNBC journalist Tucker Carlson, who has been traveling with Paul for a piece he's writing for the New Republic.

Frankly, I don't agree with him on anything but Iraq but there seems to be an attempt to belittle him along with Kucinich.

Both Kucinich and Paul make many valid points but are either shut out or ridiculed by the media. I guess you should be proud that you're now a member of the MAINSTREAM MEDIA.

Prostitution is legal in some areas, under some circumstances, in Nevada. Campaigning for Ron Paul is not the same as pimping for him. In fact, its very different.

Are there any positive articles on Ron Paul in the Huffington Post? There are many democrats who are supporting his message of freedom, that politicians abide by the Constitution. What do the people have to do to make politicians obey their oath of office? The fact that he is the only person speaking a message of liberty amidst many self absorbed candidates who rely upon big money to present their message. That message is on of continuing a war that is publicly acknowledged as based on false premises. Do we correct our errors and move forward, or invest in the black hole of money for its own sake? People are dying here to enrich a money-war machine with no mission and no purpose. People have to face the fact that the entire apparatus of government is in a current negative feedback loop of reverse incentives. Name any policy, and the opposite is probably better for the country or at least a benign neutral effect. Quit writing hit pieces and start writing objective reports.
