AP:

Almost 70 years after "The Wizard of Oz" premiered at Grauman's Chinese Theatre, a few of the film's Munchkins made a grand entrance there Tuesday to receive a collective star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Seven of the surviving actors who played the inhabitants of Munchkinland in the 1939 classic attended the ceremony, arriving in a horse-drawn carriage and trailed by a marching band.

A yellow carpet, resembling the film's yellow brick road, led them to the stage. One tap-danced, and another sang.

Homosexuals finally making political moves forward. It isn't gay marriage but it does recognize one of the most gay iconic films ever.

I'll have to see what the star sez is it 'The Muchkins of Wizard Of Oz' or just 'The Munchkins'-that would be kinda mysterious.
I didn't know Judy had a son. Jerry Maren was also a spokesperson as 'Little Oscar' for Oscar Mayer at one time I think.

Congrats to the folks, I have enjoyed that movie in so many ways at so many different ages.
But you have to try this;
Set up the CD of "Dark Side of the Moon" in your player, on continuous play.
Play the VHS tape of "The Wizard of Oz" with the sound turned all the way down.
When the MGM lion roars press play on the CD player.
It's amazing and purely coincidental, when Dark Side was made the video had not been released.
Give it a try and Happy Thanksgiving :)
