Donald Trump was on Live with Regis and Kelly today to talk about his MTV show "Pageant Place." But before talk went light, Regis asked The Donald some questions about the economy. Donald is enraged at the oil price, creeping towards $100/barrel, and blames it on a failure of leadership. "We don't have anybody calling these leaders and saying, 'You get that damn oil price down.' Because it's a joke....Between the oil companies and these oil-producing states, what's going on is a disgrace. And we don't have the people to talk it down." Donald then boldly declared, "I'd talk it down to 10!"

Trump also had tips for homeowners hoping to survive the subprime mortage crisis: stay put. "Don't move out of your house," he said. "Call your bank and negotiate. Because the last thing they need is another house." He advised people with raw subprime deals to "get yourself a good lawyer, call your bank, work out a deal. You'll end up with a very nice house and a very low mortgage."

One last nugget from Donald: "I just heard just a little while ago before the show, there's another bank going to announce tremendous numbers in terms of losses from subprime." Which could it be? JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon said his company was "fine." So which bank do you think it is?

I've read all these posts, and I can tell you that if it were possible I would stand gladly guilty of insider trading in Martha'a vagina. Furthermore, few know that because of his hair-tenna, the Donald can receive radio stations as far away as Raulpendi

Donald, where were you when it meant something? You are as behind the curve as Bernanke and Paulson.

Whatever Trump says is discounted by his incredibly awful hairdon't.

All that money and not one person who can tell him straight up that his hair is a disgusting, plastered down rat's nest?

No one really cares about him- if they did, they would shave his head while he slept.

Clinton and his Energy people stayed on top of Saudi and other OPEC producers to keep Oil between $25 and $30 per bbl which was considered a fair profit for all.
Oil men took over and let it fly using demand and supply as spin.
Neither has gone up 300%.
Ripped off by wealthy.

TRUMP ISN'T THE ONLY ONE BLAMING THE "LEADERS" FOR THE RISE IN OIL PRICES. REMEMBER CHENEY'S SECRET MEETING WITH THE AMERICAN OIL CARTEL???? WHAT'S IN HIS SAFE IN HIS OFFICE...ALL THE RECORDS THAT CONGRESS HAS ASKED FOR AND CHENEY IS GETTING READY TO BURN THEM.

With Democrats Now In Control Of The U.S. Economy and instituting new Obscene Tax Policies, The Dollar has fallen to an all time low which drives up Oil prices and hurts the economy overall.

What's been driving up the cost of oil lately? Could it be demand? Perhaps availability? Or even political strife?

'No, the only explanation for this recent run-up is speculation. Since the summer, open crude oil contracts held by financial players are up 50 percent. And in futures markets, if enough people are betting that oil will be worth $100 a barrel, it can easily become a self-fulfilling prophecy.'
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/11/10/AR2007111000066.html

'When oil was $74 a barrel in July, Goldman Sachs analyst Jeffrey Currie made the controversial prediction that prices would soon spike to above $90. After his prophecy was fulfilled, he reversed course on Oct. 30, warning that traders had gotten ahead of themselves and should take profits. His advice contributed to a nearly $3.15 per barrel drop that day, to $90.38. Although prices have bounced around since then, Currie's instincts appear to have been on the mark again.'

If these "speculators" were boiled in their own oil, would the price go up even higher?

OK, The Donald is not Mahatma Ghandi, but then again - he never claimed to be.

The Donald said W is the worst president in history. Millions know it, but Trump said it publicly.

Also, Donald Trump is right to find fault in our upper echelon political and business "leaders" (bloodsuckers) - their greed and stupidity knows no bounds and Trump points it out. Nothing wrong with that.

He keeps saying, get a good attorney and negotiate. Maybe his attorney doesn't do this to him. But what happens when they do get an attorney who say, oh yeah, you have a great case, etc. It drags on and on and you get nothing. You're still out of your home. What the f**k are these people supposed to do now, The Donald? And no, I don't want your how to get filthy rich tape either.

Even a good snake oil salesman weaves in a bit of useful advice in his pitch.

This pompous hair flap just loves to hear himself talk. He'd be the first to sell someone a sub prime loan and the first to put the same family on the curb when the house was taken back by the bank.

He could negotiate oil prices down to $10 a barrel? Funny, cheap trump talk is at $9 a barrel.

Sounds like decent advise to me. I think that some of you are just haters. You don't like Donald Trump because he's rich and you're not. I'm not saying he's the greatest guy in the world or anything. But he obviously knows a little bit about building wealth.

Freddie Mac AND Fannie Mae are the greatest frauds ever perpertrated on this globe but what is truly unique is that it will be revealed for the whole world to see and there is nothing the establishment can do to prevent it. The Donald is going to go down the pipes like all the other bowel movements.
