USA Today :

At least 20,000 U.S. troops who were not classified as wounded during combat in Iraq and Afghanistan have been found with signs of brain injuries, according to military and veterans records compiled by USA TODAY.

The data, provided by the Army, Navy and Department of Veterans Affairs, show that about five times as many troops sustained brain trauma as the 4,471 officially listed by the Pentagon through Sept. 30. These cases also are not reflected in the Pentagon's official tally of wounded, which stands at 30,327.

I can't do it, but you guys can...

I suggest you write to congress asking them to start the war on loneliness and abandon the war on terror..

That'll help OTP, Firaxis, reecie, Doug etc... lead normal lives.

"20,000 Brain Injuries Left Off Pentagon's Iraq Wounded List"

Make that 20,001 Brain Injuries. Somebody forgot to include Dumbya in the number of people with severe brain injuries. Of course, Dumbya's brain injuries aren't combat related. Just from being plain stupid.

It appears from those lists being posted that Bush hasn't done anything in his "war" on terrorists.

New High Tech Weapon to be used in Iraq! (microwave gun boils blood)
Washington fears a barrage of adverse publicity in the suspicious Muslim world and is concerned that critics will claim the invisible beam weapons were being used for torture.

This is the same device claimed to be "harmless" but which in a recent demonstration inflicted $17,000 worth of injuries on one of the test subjects.

This is a torture device by any definition of the word. It is built to do one thing; inflict pain. It is no different in intent than the iron maiden or the rack.

The Constitution grants the right to assemble and to petition the government for redress of grievances. This device is specifically designed to disperse assembled crowds by a government intending to ignore the will of the people as they plunge us into unending wars of conquest across the globe.

Brother Torquemada would have loved this thing! So would have Hitler.

Yet more crap from bush and company...

When is bush and his crew going to be impeached?

Is there anyone out there who does think he and crew shouldn't be impeached... with crap like this popping up in the headlines everyday!

If you can impeach man for getting a blow job... you sure in hell can impeach bush for cooking the books when it comes to covering up the real cost of this oil war!

Impeach the man and his crew and get it over with!

What's the old saying? "The more you pay for a painting, the less likely you are to believe it's a fake". I just can't identify the equity or sacrifice that these cowardly chickenhawks have invested. Little boys typing..that's all.. CFF

THE TRUTH IS THE GREATEST ENEMY OF THE STATE."
"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, -- Joseph Goebbels, German Minister of Propaganda, 1933-1945

Also left off the list of brain injuries: FellOffThePodium, who derives intense, panty-dampening pleasure spamming lists of violence worldwide -- as if that has ANYTHING to do with the horrors unleashed by the U.S. invasion and occupation of Iraq (including those suffered by our troops).

Hope the moron found some site that lists those stats -- if he's compiling them himself, rather than copying and pasting the whole list, it's clear evidence of the early onset of senile dementia.

Ah, for the good old days when the asshole actually tried to compose 'arguments'...

Note to self: Every time you choose to purchase your subsistence needs from those who OPerate from sweatshops, You are participating in the game! How, self, do you then attempt to escape this trap? Get with it, SELF. You must continue as you are able and willing to learn, educate others. As we all can do this we CHANGE THE PARADIGM to reach the critical mass that is required for ACTION on the GLOBAL level. THIS is the marvelous POWER we Gain in the BEAUTY of KNOWING TRUTH. We all together as one, which we ARE, can feel, think, share our way to the Paradise we all DREAM for in our collective SOUL. I become overjoyed to KNOW THESE TRUTHS. WE HAVE IT ALL to CLAIM. Those who have lost/given their lives and those who WOULD TAKE LIVES FOR MONEY are THE TERRORISTS! A recent thought I had is that if this nation does not have the will for CHANGE, these injured ones could come back home in such a sickness that domestic killing may increase due to the deep horror of hearts and souls lost to the GOD so many worship-FEAR. Peace! Let it BE. J22.

I just emailed USA Today and congratulated them for their reporting the truth as opposed to the fictions and usual Bushit regarding war reporting.

Perhaps if more did the same, they would be encouraged to do their jobs better.
