Giuliani's 'Kucinich-Size' Crowds Disappoint In New Hampshire

NBC News reports:

The numbers of reporters have ballooned. In addition to the regulars, all of the New York City tabloids are here, as are several national newspaper chains and numerous still photographers. Even Australian and Danish press made a cameo. For a campaign that never had a formal launch, this weekend almost seems like an unveiling.

The crowds, however, don't seem to have gotten the message. A rally for Giuliani in front of Manchester City Hall garnered only a few dozen supporters. Backers of Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich almost seemed to match them in numbers. Giuliani generates healthy crowds at town hall meetings, but they are not all loyalists. When it comes to rallies and events where partisans are expected in droves, Giuliani's crowds disappoint. And the mainstream media has started to notice.

I had to laugh at the comment:"Backers of Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich almost seemed to match them in numbers."
I have never seen a Ron Paul gathering with less than several hundred attendees.
"Almost ... match them in numbers"?? That has to be the most ridiculous statment I have ever read here.
RP draws crowds of hundred to thousands everywhere he goes.
Guiliani can't seem to draw enough supporters to get up a game of bridge.
With Little Benitos security squad I'll bet those "dozen" people were all his bodyguards.
He needs to learn how to buy a crowd like Romney and Clinton does if he wants anyone there.

"Kuchinich-Size" crowds? Gimme a break. Plucking headline writers from the staffs of high school newspapers? Why not make fun of Hillary's body parts or Obama's skin color? How about some good cancer jokes?
Dear Editor: SCREW YOU!

Rudy will have to pay for people to show up at his events. GW learned that a long time ago.

“I am running for president of the United States to end the United States occupation of Iraq, and put an end to the lies that brought us into Iraq, ... To help make this country whole again in the world community, and to challenge those lies, which if left unchallenged, will cause this administration to lead this country towards another war.â€

'Kucinich-Size' Crowds WTF? Running down a candidate because he's short you have got to be kidding me!! Or to imply the Rudy's crowds are small linking them to a under reporting of the crowds that both Kucinch and Ron Paul draw is bad journalism. Rudy is a front runner because of the media support and shills like FOX Noise. BTW Ron Paul drew 800 at his rally in October http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2007/10/01/388589.aspx

Biden has it right. Giuliani's sentences consist of a noun, a verb, and 9/11. No substance. He talks like he grew up in Jersey City.

Ariana's characterization of Giuliani is still the best around. He's nothing but a street thug, hangs with other street thugs, and seems to believe the thug image is cool, even after 7 years of Bush.

He needs a clue... badly.

I like it: another dig against Dennis Kucinich by the Huffers. Huffington Post is nothing more than the status quo. Progressives? Not a fucking chance.

This is a struggle for the soul of the Democratic Party, which in too many cases has become so corporate and identified with corporate interests that you can't tell the difference between Democrats and Republicans.

Ask any New Yorker, just ask us. What do you think of Rudy? The diatribe that follows will surely give his supporters pause. I voted for the asshole twice. Then he went completely neo-con, Bush-fascist on me. Tickets for jay walking (huh?) that not even the police would enforce. A reporter tried to get a ticket and couldn't. Denied firemen the proper equipment (meaning many of them died in the WWTC). My personal favorite was putting my dog in the car in front of my doorman building one day, and being slapped with a $150 Rudy Ticket for having my dog off the leash. I was opening the door at that time I was ticketed, the dog was sitting waiting to get in the car. The judge, when I contested, derisively referred to it as a Rudy ticket and threw it out.

Rudy is the Republican's Republican. No government unless it plays by His rules. Tyranny for all. The more fascist and hypocritical the better. In the words of America's worst president, 'Bring 'em on."

Rudy Giuliani will have to do a Bush and pay for people to support him.

The reason Rudy is running is that he was drafted.
That's right, the Republicans wanted him to run and he is, the same with Fred Thompson.

It has nothing to do with ego like Romney or Paul.

I think the "Kucinich Sized Crowds" is a bit disrespectful to a good Democrat. As for Rudy, fuck that two-bit sonofabitch. (Ask how I really feel). Jack Out.
