Huckabee: America "Enslaved To Saudi Oil"

Consumers are financing both sides in the war on terror because of the actions of U.S. ally Saudi Arabia, Republican presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee said Sunday.

The former Arkansas governor made the comments following what he suggested was a muted response by the Bush administration to a Saudi court's sentence of six months in jail and 200 lashes for a woman who was gang raped.

I don't know why the qualifier was inserted. America is hooked on oil. Period. We could care less where it comes from.

Take Bush, for example. He spends more time in Crawford than he does in Washington, and always flies Air Force 1 or 2. Each trip costs hundreds of thousands of dollars, but Bush believes his job is to talk conservative while spending like an off the chart liberal.

America made a geat start towards developing alternative energies during the last oil hikes in the 1970's.
When Wall St. and its oil cartel noticed Americans were cutting back on their use of gas and oil (thanks in large part to a new public zeal and enthusiasm for conservation and alternative energy) Big Pertoleum suddenly dropped the price of oil by as much as 75 per cent.

With cheap oil and gas people didn't need other alternative energies and so that era of conservation and inventing new,cleaner energies,sank beneath the waves far beneath EXXON's Super Tankers!

Anyone that bitches about US dependant on Arab oil should STFU and turn off their damn lights and start walking or quit buying their oil. they have a product to sell and we are buying it's not their fault. the cost of oil is rising because on the war drums this administration keeps beating against Iran, the dollar is what is used to buy oil in the world market, the dollar sucks because we are borrowing more than we are suppose to, to fund another failed policy in Iraq which incedently is producing far less oil than when Saddam was in power. We only have ourselves to blame so please STFU already.

Huckabee is a damn fool, I saw the interview with Wolf Bitzer the guy makes flamboyant remarks but has zero substance on any of the topics he was asked to address. He cannot say if he was far a two-state solution between the Palastinians and Israelis because he didn't know or cannot tell where it will be extablished or what the outcome would be. (Just bend over, grab your ankles and ask nicely for the Jewish vote). He is against the Israelis giving back the West Bank and the Golon Heights as if it belongs to the Jewish state... I suppose it's okay since we stole some land too a while back (again Just bend over, grab your ankles and ask nicely for the Jewish vote). Darnshitfart I think I will sue the US Government for continuously siding with one ethnic group over every other ethnic group in the United States.

Huckabee is about as lame as they get.
Of course he doesn't mention how he will get the US 'energy independent' in ten years. he doesn't even offer one tiny possibility. maybe he'll pray for a miracle.

Huckabee is one great scam artist and people are taken in so easily by his populist americana speeches.

He is an ordained baptist minister who has the audacity to declare in interviews that the reason he has to take off his shoes at airports is due to illegal immigration. He obviously is not aware of the nationality of the people who flew planes into towers, the pentagon and fields on Sept 11.

Huckabee is an irritating fly on the GOP candidates and he will be swatted off pretty soon.

Of course we are. The left insists on no nuclear, no coal, no drilling for US oil or natural gas and subsidies for bad energy sources such as ethanol, wind and biofuels. And then the very same people complain the US is dependent on foreign energy sources. The lack of understanding of science and mathematics in the USA is appalling. This lack of knowledge forces the left to make irrational choices based on emotions. Sad.

Huckabee is a flim-flam artist. The Saudis and anyone else will sell their oil on the open market to the highest bidder. All of this obstrification about capturing oil markets is foolish.
My brother-in law was flying helicopters servicing the oil companies in Angola when the communist took over. The first thing the communist did was made sure that Shell kept those rigs up and running. They also made sure the workers were well treated. Black Gold.

Just a bunch of last minute catchy banter if you ask me. Kinda like oh say chuck norris. Makes me proud of risking my neck so that our political process can include peanuts and clowns. Oil is not the anti-christ and until we realize we don't need to drive across town to get a movie every night or have our homes perfectly 70 degrees 24-7 then we can always find some cop-out or resource to whore. Then again nobody did ask me. Proud to be a McCain supporter.
