The Ron Paul campaign is gearing up to escalate its battle to destroy the U.S. Constitution in order to save it and to otherwise bugger our imaginations with rampaging insanity by taking the fight to the skies! Pictured, at right, is the Paulites latest atrocity: an artist's concept of what would be the Ron Paul Blimp! The Dread Zeppelin! La dirigible unintelligible! It will float from town to town, and, if the description the Paul supporter behind this idea is accurate, confuse the minds of men!

Imagine.. the mainstream media is mesmerized as the image of the Ron Paul blimp is shown to tens of millions of Americans throughout the day (and throughout the month). Wolf Blizter [sic], stunned and as if in a trance, repeats the words "Amazing, Amazing".

You have to admit, this sounds AWESOME.

As GPS co-ordinates stream to the website a map shows the Ron Paul blimp's location in real time. The local Television stations broadcast its every move. The curious flock together and make a trip to see history in the making. Emails with pictures are sent, then forwarded, then forwarded again. Youtube videos go viral and reach tens of millions of views. Ron Paul becomes the first presidential candidate in history to have his very own blimp. The PR stunt generates millions upon millions of dollars worth in free publicity, and captures the imagination of America.

But why stop there? Why don't we raise some money to buy Ron Paul his very own kangaroo? He can climb in the pouch and hop from campaign stop to campaign stop! Wolf Blitzer will look on, dumbfounded, muttering, "Stunning...wondrous!"

The thing is, these Paulites are deadly serious about this. They claim to have raised over $98,000 toward the $350K they think will make this blimp a reality. And if the picture below is any indication, the next terrorist-themed movie they aim to fetishize may be Black Sunday.

Really. Isn't it time to consider whether we might all be better off if we simply gave in to Ron Paul's demands?

Wow Miss anthrope2, did you pass a background check before you got the Glocks? You obviously are one of the Save the Whales, Kill a fetus crowd. And by the way, all of the character traits you used to so impotently compare Ron Paul to Timothy McVeigh could just as easily be attributed to Washington, Jefferson, Jay, Franklin, Adams and Madison. All terrorists in your book, I assume?
Are you a troll? Are you a gay troll?

Soviet communists attempted to paint all opposition to the state as mental illness. It now seems our own federal government wants to create a therapeutic nanny state, beginning with schoolchildren. It’s not hard to imagine a time 20 or 30 years from now when government psychiatrists stigmatize children whose religious, social, or political values do not comport with those of the politically correct, secular state.

American parents must do everything they can to remain responsible for their children’s well-being. If we allow government to become intimately involved with our children’s minds and bodies, we will have lost the final vestiges of parental authority. Strong families are the last line of defense against an overreaching bureaucratic state.

It's kind of crazy that, in these very dangerous times, we're focusing on a political stunt instead of on the issues and problems facing our nation. While I agree with many of Dr. Paul's votes, the candidate who is without peer in the foreign relations experience we so desperately need right now is Joseph Biden. Nobody is going to get everything they want in any candidate and I'm not in complete agreement with all of Senator Biden's views, but he is very well respected not only in Congress by both Dems and Repubs, but also by leaders worldwide. I believe Biden, more than any other candidate, could restore this nation's place in the world and once again rally our allies around us. Biden is a good, decent, knowledgeable man. He would make a great president, one we could be proud of. Wouldn't that be a nice change? I'm glad Dr. Paul is creating dialogue. We need divergent views. But this election is perhaps the most important one we will see in our lifetime. I hope people will consider that and not be sidelined by political antics when there is so much at stake.

Ron Paul supports mental health, but not forced Ritalin for school kids.

"The Ron Paul campaign is gearing up to escalate its battle to destroy the U.S. Constitution in order to save it and to otherwise bugger our imaginations with rampaging insanity by taking the fight to the skies!"

You said "bugger our imaginations"? Really! I assume that this is a weak attempt at humor.

I must take issue however, with you comment. How is Ron Paul going to destroy the Constitution when he is the only one on stage who said that he would do as the Constitution said, and rely on Congress to make a declaration of war, while Romney was stating that he would have to consult his lawyers before making such a decision?

In case you hadn't noticed, the Constitution is nothing more than a piece of scrap paper under the Bush regime, and you think Ron Paul is going to destroy it?

I think the main issue in this election is not the Iraq war, but the U.S. Constitution. We need to correctly identify who the threats to the Constitution are, and who would see the Constitution restored.

Makes me vomit in my mouth alittle, kind of like the chuck norris commercial and all the candidate nutjobs. Again in the face of the onslaught makes me proud to support Sen. McCain.

This is probably the best legal analysis of the Paul campaign.
I find this to be very relevant as to what the Kucinich campaign and the Paul campaign must be discussing as admitted by MRS. Kucinich on another thread here at Huffpo.
This was a good video and of the Two gentlemen being interviewed one is Bruce Fein, Chief legal council for the Paul campaign..
He is very pronounced to say the least, at what we should do as a nation.
Dr. Paul holds these same views and would not have this man as his chief campaign lawyer if he didnt.

You all missed the boat in the 60's now its Ron Paul to finish the job you all so haphazardly started. Get right, or get left. The choice is yours.

Read and learn

""A nation that once prided itself on a sense of rugged individualism has become uncomfortably obsessed with racial group identities.

The collectivist mindset is at the heart of racism.

Government as an institution is particularly ill-suited to combat bigotry. Bigotry at its essence is a problem of the heart, and we cannot change people's hearts by passing more laws and regulations.

It is the federal government that most divides us by race, class, religion, and gender. Through its taxes, restrictive regulations, corporate subsidies, racial set-asides, and welfare programs, government plays far too large a role in determining who succeeds and who fails. Government "benevolence" crowds out genuine goodwill by institutionalizing group thinking, thus making each group suspicious that others are receiving more of the government loot. This leads to resentment and hostility among us.

Racism is simply an ugly form of collectivism, the mindset that views humans strictly as members of groups rather than as individuals. Racists believe that all individuals who share superficial physical characteristics are alike: as collectivists, racists think only in terms of groups. By encouraging Americans to adopt a group mentality, the advocates of so-called "diversity" actually perpetuate racism.

The true antidote to racism is liberty. Liberty means having a limited, constitutional government devoted to the protection of individual rights rather than group claims. Liberty means free-market capitalism, which rewards individual achievement and competence - not skin color, gender, or ethnicity.

In a free society, every citizen gains a sense of himself as an individual, rather than developing a group or victim mentality. This leads to a sense of individual responsibility and personal pride, making skin color irrelevant. Racism will endure until we stop thinking in terms of groups and begin thinking in terms of individual liberty." ~ Ron Paul.

Unlike the others, Ron Paul's campaign is decentralized. It is run by engaged supporters from across the political spectrum and funded by our own money. I personally prefer the traditional methods of tablings and neighborhood canvassing (all politics is local) while others engage in creative activities, from the effective (money bombs) to the fun (Boston Tea Party) to the outrageous (peace blimps). Ron Paul supporters are having a good time while making personal political statements.

Disagree with Ron Paul is one thing, but if all you People-Have-the-Power Progressives can do these days is to poke fun at grassroots enthusiasm, you are truly a pathetic lot.

Desperation and an inability to engage in discussion of ideas produce playground bullies. I surely hope you feel good about yourself.

Ron Paul: the only thing he advocates that's worth a damn is getting out of Iraq--NOW!! Outside of that, just another crazy little fuck with small-man syndrome. Jack Out.

That was about the most juvenile misinformed misleading dig I have seen at Ron Paul and his supporters to date. Nobody can find fault with Ron Paul so they resort to playground tactics.

I find a majority of Ron Paul supporters posess the same characteristics as Bush supporters.

If you disagree with them and don't accept RP as your personal saviour they quickly devovle into anger and churlish tactics.

I've never found fanaticism to be an admirable or appealing trait.Zealotry is counter productive in it's insistence that only one opinion, one viewpoint can exist.
