As the WGA strike begins its 4th week, I've been told positive news about today's resumption of contract talks between the writers and the producers. So positive, in fact, that I'm almost fearful to post it. But here goes: a very reliable source tells me that there appears to be a deal seemingly in place between both sides.

"It's already done, basically," the insider describes. That's because of the weeks worth of groundwork by the Hollywood agents working the writers guild leadership on one side, and the studio and network moguls on the other. I was told not to expect an agreement this week. But my source thought it was possible that the strike could be settled before Christmas.

I hope this strike goes on for a LONG TIME...why? Because maybe some people will realize how brainwashed they are by TV and not watch it anymore...and maybe people will wake up to certain realities. Such as people are being brainwashed to vote Hillary when Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich is the real deal. People are also being brainwashed in to believing the official ridiculous myth about 9/11 that if I were to tell ANYONE the scenario prior to 9/11 they would think it was retarded how people would believe it.

So I hope the talks break down and TV is out for years.

If the strike is near settlement or not, the WGA can't give in now. A successful work action may help remind the rest of this country that workers have power if they hang together. The only other choice is to hang separately.

Good!! I can only hope this means that the studios have agreed that writers deserve more than 0% of whatever revenues are generated by on-line content

If it's true, I'll be pleasantly shocked like everybody else. On the other hand, if there's a settlement but nothing said/done about having actual QUALITY content, then what the hell was the point of the strike to begin with?
