Mayor Bloomberg today rejected the idea that last week's Huff Post scoop on his private foreign policy tutorials with former US Ambassador to the UN Nancy Soderberg is further proof of his plans to enter the '08 presidential race.

DN City Hall Bureau Chief Kisten Danis reports the mayor displayed some of his trademark prickliness on his desire to maintain a modicum of privacy as a high profile public official.

Just thinking out loud, but wasn't last week's story real bullshit?

Anyone who has as many and varied business as well as charity interests as he does, combined with his lifelong positions and contracts would know more about foreign affairs than just about anyone else.

He was responding to a hit piece done here, and the response here seems idiotic at best.

Unlike most people in government, he earned his money without family connections or a trail of bodies. If he decides to run, and I believe he will only do that if he sees a better-than-even chance of victory, he will be formidable.

Why is a PR release from the Bloomberg office a breaking news item?

He is a 'CROSSOVER' to politics from business
and ran for a nothing job == the boroughs run
themselves and he just has to appear at emergencies and the funerals of personnel down in the line of service. Any serious work is done by underlings. NOW HE WANTS TO BE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. ABSURD. TOTALLY UNQUALIFIED --- NEVER DONE ANY OF THE ESSENTIALS...SOPHMORES IN HISTORY at NYU or Columbia know more about the history of American Foreign Policy...Seriously..
Students who CRAM CRAM CRAM tend to get C grades in HISTORY and then go on the LAW SCHOOL for more Cram Cram Cram...

I'd welcome Mayor Bloomberg to the race.
Better he than she (Rudy).
I like my females to be actual females.

Bloomy, study the Constitution, war crimes, and the Bill of Rights. You are well below human, and democratic standards on all of these.
