The Swamp:

Al Gore slipped out the side door of the West Wing.

In his private Oval Office meeting with President Bush, the former vice president insisted that they had spoken about global warming "the whole time.'' It wasn't clear if the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, who shared the honor for his work on climtate change, was serious.

"Of course,'' they had spoken about global warming, Gore said, strolling down a rain-slick Pennsylvania Avenue with wife Tipper Gore after a private session with the president. For Gore, who had gone into the White House for a reception for the American winners of the 2007 Nobel Prizes, this was his first return to the Oval Office since leaving office.

But Gore, calling the meeting with Bush "very cordial'' and "substantive,'' declined to elaborate on their meeting. "I'm not going to do an interview here,'' Gore said in his walk down the streets outside the White House. "I don't want to comment more.''

President Bush continues to show class and grace when it comes to his political rivals.

What will he get in return? More attacks and insults from people with a "D" after their name. Count on it.

I'm sure they were civil. One snide remark from W, and Gore would snap 3x in a "Z" Oscar, Emmy and Nobel. Biotch! And an extra snap for possible "Person of the Year".

Al Gore chose to act as a gracious person, I am sure. He would have nothing to gain and could actually lose ground for his cause by publicly, at this event, attacking Bush. Perhaps, he will address the meeting later. We can only hope at this time. Peace

I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall during that meeting!

Gore must have used all his will power not to condemn the Commander Guy.

Gore deserves the White House. Why won't he run? Boo Hoo!

.
An American Hero meets an American War Criminal.
And the winner is, and will always be, Al Gore.

I wanted to post about Cheney in the hospital--but--surprise, surprise--comments are closed. So much for "fearlessness," Arianna.

' "I believe it appropriate to have an overstatement of factual presentations on how dangerous it is, as a predicate to opening up the audience to listen," Gore told the environmentalist magazine Grist in 2006.

In the early days of the warming scare, when Gore was just a Tennessee senator who had mere presidential, not world-saving, aspirations on his mind, Stanford University environmentalist Stephen Schneider told Discover magazine in 1989 that "we need to get some broad-based support, to capture the public's imagination."

"That, of course, entails getting loads of media coverage. So we have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements, and make little mention of any doubts we might have."

Guilty as well is James Hansen, the climate change godfather, who said in 2003 that "emphasis on extreme scenarios may have been appropriate at one time, when the public and decision makers were relatively unaware of the global warming issue."

We're sure he no longer believes they are appropriate because he knows they aren't needed. He and others have effectively bamboozled the world into believing that climate disaster is imminent. '

We reap what we sow in just one lifetime! A past loser rigged the elections in 2000 and was selected as President. A qualified man was screwed by the electoral process and the likes of Nader

7 years later, all that the loser has touched has turned into mud, while the Man he screwed is now an International Statesman!

There indeed is justice in some shape or form and what goes around, comes around ... it really does!!!
