However, he would be a lot more effective, if he would
interview right-wing folks once in a while (a la Tom
Hartmann on Air America Radio), and then skewer them.

It's funny that he does sports commentaries because he's so smart. None of the other guys got his jokes because they... well...they were nowhere near his intellectual capacity.

I applaud Olbermann for not taking himself too seriously, both on his show and here on the Simpsons. Yeah, he can sound like a blowhard, and he makes fun of it here...

But his commentary is caustic, incisive and right on. He's outraged, properly so, at what's been done to this government and by this government. Any citizen with two brain cells together *should* be.
