Anderson Cooper visited Ellen today, where he discussed what sorts of trash TV he watches to take his mind off the sad stories he covers. He stopped watching "The Bachelor" long ago, but respects Brad's decision to propose to neither girl in the recent finale.

He does, however, seem to love MTV's teen-oriented reality programming, saying he was "addicted" to "My Super Sweet 16" but "[doesn't] understand how parents think it's OK to spend, like, $300,000 on a child's sweet 16 party" so he switched to "Tiara Girls" after the first season. What's "Tiara Girls," you might ask? "It's like, low-rent beauty pageants," Anderson told Ellen. "It's like, the Miss Filet of Steak Pageant from Philadelphia."

When Ellen asked about the show "Daddy's Spoiled Little Girl," super-hetero-sweet-dude Anderson played dumb and responded, "That sounds like a porn film to me," and instead explained how he was addicted to Paula Abdul's reality show, "Hey Paula." But of course!

Why does anyone care what his sexual orientation is? It doesn't even have anything to do with this story. And why do they allow this Candy person to post nonsense garbage for a stupid site? It's a lightweight puff piece about silly programs the guy likes to watch. Get over the obsession with who has sex with who.

The book Anderson wrote wasn't intended to disclose information about his personal life. It was only about war, disasters and survival as it states on the cover. The info he gives about his brother and father were already out there through his mother's own books. He has always maintained that he won't talk about what people expect him to, his sexuality and who he dates.

First, I could care less if he IS GAY or not. So why am I wasting my time posting this? For this reason.

For somebody who's in a "no-win" position re:answering the question, he's spinning the speculation to the max. One minute he says, I made a decision a long time ago to not talk about my private life. If that's true, then why did you write a memoir? The purpose of this is to talk about your life. And aren't relationships part of someone's life? To say, I won't talk about my private life. But I'll spin the hell out of it to sell books is crap.

Just say no to that next big publisher advance, ok?

When a journalist or (newsreader) becomes a celeberity he/she/it stops being a journalist to be taken seriously.
