Although President George W. Bush's administration has relegated the Palestinian-Israeli conflict to the back burner as of late, nothing better defines "legacy" than "peace talks," regardless of outcome.

To that end, the administration is sponsoring peace talks--beginning Tuesday in Annapolis, Md.--between Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, along with delegates from nearly 50 other countries and organizations.

Not to worry. Prayers are being said in droves for Annapolis to fail. Iran has vcompleted its second missile able to reach Israel and will use it. Hamas is holding its own anti peace *conference* and Hezbullah has been digging itself in in Southern Lebanon, using explosives to dig trenches. Secret talks between Israel and Syria have been going on to give up the Golan Hieghts and Syria has refused to accept. If anyone has a memory, the PLO (da Palestinians) were ejected from Jordan, after an attempted coup there, and Arafat who was offered all he demanded walked away from the Peace Process during the Clinton years. Abbas is just a lakey of Arafat. If all of the PLO (Palestinians) demands are met, they will just have advanced their positions for attacking Israel, whatever is left of it. While the *goal* is a contiguous Palestine, Israel will not be contiguous. The advance positions will be used, as is Gaza, as shooting ranges into Israel. Israel's holiest site is already under the Waqf (Jordanian). The
Golan heights together with the Galilee will make one large Arab advance position inside Israel proper, even after the division. Time for Divine Intervention.

There will never be peace until both sides give up their RELIGIONS OF REVENGE and accept Jesus admonition to "Love your enemy."

I'm not saying they have to become Christians, be "born again" or any of that other nonsense, but they're gonna have to act like Christ in this one crucial regard unless they want this conflict to go on another 500 years.

Israel will never give up west bank land.

They want more and Jerusalem. This has been their goal for 50 years.

Stupid America, keep backing the wrong country.
