As for Helio Julianne and Helio's ex, I can only quote Chris Rock:

Helio and his dance partner had the look of love-- it helped that they were the most credible --as for poor Marie- at close to 50 -life needs to take on more interests (I took up golf)- so she avoided a mid-life crisis- and with 8 kids and 2 divorces- she needed a reprieve-- let's give her a break and not be so mean and petty--

Poor Barbara she got scooped! TMZ released a statement from his ex-fiancée just minutes before The View ended. Then it went wall to wall and Helio had to comment about it. Apparently, he was being gentlemanly and letting her make the announcement. I doubt that there's anything going on between he and Julianne.

The hate and vitriol that's being hurled at Marie is disgusting - she didn't announce her son's situation, Larry King essentially blindsided her with the question (though apparently it was getting ready to break in the tabloids). Does anyone actually believe that she planned the faint, her father's death and her son's entrance into rehab? If you really believe that - you have far more problems than Marie.

I enjoyed seeing Helio win. I readily admit I was rooting more for Julianne, though. Part of the fun of the show is to see far the celebs come in terms of going from non-dancers to dancers. On that score Helio, Jennie Garth and Cameron seemed to have traveled the greatest distances. All started from nearly zero dance experience and developed into enjoyable performers.


Mel B was terrific and I would have been just as pleased to see her win. Sabrina was also very good. My personal felling is that both ladies were butting right up to the edge of being professional dancers before going on the show.

I don't know anything about the Spice Girls as a touring act, but I got the impression they've not been together for a while and were just now putting together something of a reunion tour. So, Mel may have been out of the loop for a while, but her talant and experience definitely helped her.

Mel's other positive/negative regarding votes related to her dance partner, Max. Max is a love him or hate him kind of guy. He's a great dancer and very good looking. However, to some folks he comes across as arrogant and self-absorbed.

Sabrina, on the other hand, is an active member of a currently sucessful singin' and dancin' girl group called The Cheetah Girls. Now, that's fine for her and she was great to watch, but it was hardly fair competition to be a soap actor or a race car driver or a basketball team owner against that. In the end, though, Sabrina didn't have enough fans.

Congrats to Helio and Julianne. If they have a personal relationship--good for them. Actually, it's more like: Helio, you incredibly lucky guy. Kiss her one for me!

What Helio does with his private life is no one's business. The audicity of members of the View, a most ridiculous TV show, should cease and desist in this type of gossip mongering. It was obvious to me there was something between Helio and Julianne - both are infectious, charming, terribly attractive people and if it clicks for them so be it. To chastise this guy because he wouldn't come clean is disgusting. None of our damn business but the media simply won't stop until they destroy their target.

Marie was the most revolting. She should have NEVER made it to the finals. To toss out the Chetah girl was stupid although I don't think she would have beat out Helio. They guy looked great as a dancer and in costume and he has the most charming personality deserving of the award. Mel was sweet but she and Marie have professional (sub) backgrounds as dancers. We all know both women were on this show to enhance their professional careers. Helio is a race car driver- he has no career other then driving racing cars and look at what a wonderful dancer he is!

I am totally disgusted by the entire Osmond clan, that they would prositute themselves and Marie as they did on every freaking entertainment program that would have them. The View, Enterntainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, Regis - hell, you name it, one of them was on ever show promoting Marie. Had we even heard of Marie or the Osmonds prior to this show? Absolutely now and we shouldn't have heard from them again. Marie's revelation that her son was in rehab - another enbarrssing bid for publicity. What angered me was her quick admission that he was adopted. She has FIVE adopted childred and only had three of her own but couldn't stop declaring she was a "mother of 8" (like her own mother). No WONDER the kid was in rehab! It's that of credibility that destroys Marie. She was on this show for one purpose: to sell more freaking dolls.

I thank GOD Helio and Julieanne won.

Whaaaaaaaaaa!! It should be MARIE making the rounds saying she is a winner.....but Helio sure is cute.

He probably should have said "no comment" but he was probably just avoiding being bombarded with questions. As for his win, the public apparently prefers TRUE amateurs to win, not performers who come into the show already knowing how to dance.

Personal life is his affair. But they still need to change their voting practices. Does not work. Why? Sabrina voted out too soon, Cameran should have been there. The contest would be so much more enjoyable. Mel, was a pleasure. Marie`s behavior was annoying to say the least and Helio, good the judges say, but something was missing there...
