Helio Who? Castroneves Wins "Dancing With The Stars"

Race car driver Helio Castroneves is the winner of "Dancing With the Stars." Spice Girl Melanie Brown and her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, were the highest-scoring couple throughout the hit show's fifth season. But on Tuesday night, viewers snubbed Brown and gave the mirrorball trophy to Castroneves.

The fourth consecutive man to win the contest, Castroneves' personality, enthusiasm and flashing smile _ combined with an effortless quickstep on his final performance _ clearly resonated more with voters.

Helio was good, but Mel B was 10x better. She's the winner to me!

Helio won on the Freestyle dancing--watched the Tivo--Mel B. was so lame on that dance.

Yes, Sabrina was robbed, but at least the fans' vote counts for only 50%, or else Sanjaya would have won the competition!

I voted for both Mel and Helio during the season but I week after week I was getting more annoyed with Marie Osmond. What an unlikeable "star" she turned out to be. Argue with the judges. Go on and on and on about how old she was like she should get some kind of handicap for that in the voting scores. They didn't do that for the one-legged girl from last year and I don't remember her going on and on whining about only having one leg. Marie Osmond is actually quite obnoxious. I wonder how the other stars really got along with her. Especially week after week when better dancers than her were getting kicked off. That had to be frustrating for them and then to have to put up with her mouth. Yikes. but Helio and Mel were both good but it certainly dancing and performing was certainly out of Helio's element so just on that he deserved to win. Mel B is good though - hope to see more of her.

The two finalists should have been Mel and Sabrina.

Those two would have made the final dances something spectacular to watch.

have been the first to go.

Mel B was robbed! The only reason he won was because Julianne is such a good dancer, not because he was.

Helio was very good, but I was dissapointed Mel was the one, who was such a pleasure to watch. From a viewers point of view, Helio was a little stiff.
Oh well, what a sigh of relief it could have been Marie, she shouldn`d have been even gone that far. She also was not a gracious woman, talked back to the judges with a loud voice. Interestingly Marie always brings up her advanced age, but still needs to learn grace from the young lady, voted out way before her time.
