Dozens of Iraqi lawmakers walked out of parliament Wednesday to protest what they view as overly aggressive and humiliating treatment by U.S. soldiers as representatives enter Baghdad's heavily fortified Green Zone, where the legislature is located.

"I and many of my colleagues who live outside the Green Zone face a lot of problems," said Feryad Rawandozi, a high-ranking official with the Kurdish parliamentary bloc. U.S. soldiers "are very arrogant and impolite when they talk to us, especially with those who don't speak English."

OH WE ARE MAKING FRIENDS LEFT & RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE EAST!!!
LET'S STAY FOR A FEW MORE DECADES AND SEE HOW MANY MORE WE CAN RECRUIT (for the other sides)
It appears BushCo thought by pisssing them all off they may come together at least to fight against US.

It's nice that after all the abuse that has rained down on that country, someone is standing up for Iraqi dignity.

It would be simple to end the problems in Iraq and leave. The big problem with the Iraqi parliment is that american corporations want them to sign over 80% of their oil. If the greedy punks would be willing to negotiate and take maybe 50% then things may work out. Kind of like that guy in Mississippi trying to bribe a judge for 40 thousand on a 25 million dollor case....really insulting greed.

Biden's Iowa supporters point to recent debates where other Democrats defer to his foreign policy stances " especially his plan to bring a political solution in Iraq " as evidence he is emerging as the right choice at this volatile juncture in U.S. and world history.

"Iraq is by far the single most important issue facing America today, and Joe Biden has the most credible plan to get us out without causing further chaos," said Iowa House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, D-Des Moines.

McCarthy, one of 13 Iowa legislators to endorse Biden, said he was sold on the Delaware senator because of his "unmatched" foreign policy experience, his expansive Senate record, his passion and the fact that he just plain likes the guy.

I apologize, in my name, for the boors' behavior. We are decent people, really. Never thought I'd have to say this to the Iraqi people. Which we went to "liberate".

CONSUMPTION BOYCOTT NOW

We can stop the Occupation of Iraq, by reducing discretionary spending and letting it be known why.

For example, what if everyone stopped going to McDonalds and made it known that it was because of the Occupation?
McDonald"s sales go to $0 overnight with 13,000 US stores going dark within 3 months of no sales. This would have reverberations on local businesses, insurance companies and mortgage companies all the way to Wall Street. However, instead of targeting a specific business, target your personal spending.

Eliminate your unnecessary spending for-- Movies, $4.00 coffees, newspapers, magazines, non-essential items, vacations, new cars, electronics, hotels, entertainment, restaurants, etc. Create a goal of cutting $100/week from your budget and telling people why.

If you must spend, avoid corporate stores. If you are able to buy something from a small vendor do it. If you are able to do without, don"t buy it. Find hobbies other than consuming.

If everyone reduced their spending in all areas, until our troops were brought HOME (not re-deployed within the Middle East) the economic impact would put enormous pressure onto the banking-mortgage-insurance system to stop the war.

Your benefit
Take the money which you will save and use it to pay off credit cards, mortgages, existing car loans, college loans or to build a nest egg. If 10% of the population (30,000,000) could stop spending $100.00 a week and put it towards existing debt without acquiring more, it would take $3,000,000,000.00 A WEEK off of the banker"s books.

Be a patriot and quit consuming in order to bring our troops home from this illegal occupation NOW. If we all do it we can make a change in this world. The power rests with you, share this idea. CONSERVE.

I pledge allegiance to the neocon flag of the United States of Bush,
And to the failing Republic for which it implodes,
One nation under surveillance, divisible by profits,
With torture and injustice for all but the goons.

Eventually I will have that prayer distilled to the point that it is as memorable as the Lord's Prayer.

My fellow Conservatives and I will be able to recite it while maintaining a lustful gaze at the buttocks of a young man in a pew in front of us.

Today's prayer:

Dear Baby Jesus of the GOP, as you lay in your baby saviour manger, with your frankensense filled, little miraculous Baby Jesus rattle, please watch over our Dear Holy Party as we travel the dangerous and liberal waters of the treasonous American electoral field. Help us to bring all of that wonderful Jesus inspired sanctimony to a successful campaign trail fraught the potholes of tempting vaginas and willing male prostitutes. Please allow our unfettered access to these, your most wonderful gifts, by keeping them from the general public (and our wives, who we enjoy loveless, unfufilling relationships just to maintain the illusion of righteousness) and hiding their costs to the taxpayers, so we can once again bring to the American people the Gospel: Unfettered Freemarketeer Christian Values. Namely, unending war for fun and profit, corruption at the local, state and federal level, and last but not least, information obtainable by illegal means of our politcal opponents. And also help our Most Glorious leader GWB regain a modecum of approval in the polls so he can be the Hero of the Holy Codpiece again and move on to blowing up the next group of the Browner Than We Are People of the World and help them come to you, in your little Baby Jesus Manger, and convert them from their heathen and strange religions and help them to embrace the Church of the Freemarket Christians.
And lastly, please put an end to all the incessant whining from subjugated peoples under our thumb. We brought them Armed Forces Radio including such stars as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Dr. Laura Schlessinger, what more do they want? Freedom? Freedom is a choice. Of course, Freedom is impossible without a guarantee that there will be some oil on our dipsticks in the end.

We ask all of this in your name, Jesus, so we can all get really cheap area rugs for the foyers of our homes and our prayer meeting facilities can be carpeted in a fashion that would make you, Jesus, comfortable to join in fellowship and voter registration.
