Presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama D-Ill., stopped for a little soul food with Al Sharpton in Harlem Thursday evening.

Arriving together in the same car, the two were flanked by people on the street outside the popular soul food restaurant, "Silvia's" in the heart of Harlem.

black today - not so much tomorrow

'We goin to shake up the world'??? Not so much - the more this fool preaches the more I gag on all this hope. Do you really want someone who will get up a preach to the rest of the country everytime they come into your living room promising results? Not so much.

I want results not a false promise - I will support Huckabee before Obama. no way, not this time will I get fooled by promises and good speeches - a wolf in sheeps clothing

I want to hear Barack give us 1,000 words on
energy. The person that seems to have their
shit together on the energy vote is the one
that I'll be supporting, and no other. Why?

Because you can harp NashlKongame or NashlSkirty
or whatever the hell else all day long, but
when you put the harp down, dependency on
oil imports is one of our biggest problems.
They need to un-fuck the energy picture so
that YOU or anyone ELSE can make it to work
without paying people in 15 different countries
for the privilege as well as a couple of
day-traders in our country. Want social and
economic progress? Great. Help EVERYbody by
pushing for energy independence. Equality
means being color, gender, and religion-blind,
too. I don't want a Pandidate, someone promising
me something, I want them to DO THEIR HOMEWORK.
If Barack can do that, then he gets my vote.
Otherwise, I'll vote for someone else. 9 trillion in the hole, and going deeper. Fix it.

FYI Gourmets got to Sylvia's for unsweetened corn bread; what's the big deal about Barak & Al talking during a meal? Both men make a living by listening & talking.

I think Obama is a decent man who has the potential to one day be a good leader, but at this time he is still very wet behind the ears. He can have lunch with whomever he pleases, but only time is going to give him the credentials and experience he needs to lead this nation. The world is too dangerous a place right now to entrust the country to a rookie. My pick is the candidate with foreign policy credentials that are without peer, and that is Joe Biden. Yes, he's a long shot because people are so caught up in the glitz and glamour of Clinton and Obama, but today Biden moved ahead of Richardson in Iowa so people are starting to pay attention. All I want for Christmas is Joe Biden for President.

The NAACP dream ticket of Obomba and Sharpton will not fly with the rest of America.

Any national ticket with Obomba on it will fail miserably. Billery is not much better.

This site is so pro-o-bomb-a-nation that it reeks with propagandized yellow journalism.

Bloomberg and any other politician would be a fool to join forces as a subordinate with the the O-bomb-a-ble one.

I think that Obama is doing what he believes he must. Talk to all sides and who might influence those who might vote. Talking to others balck or white with any influence is what politicians do alot and if Al can do anything and support as well as get out those who might not vote to vote more power to them both.

McCain lost all cred going to the evangelicals to kiss @ss. Why does Obama or any other honest, decent human being give cred to Sharpton, a dishonest antisemitic, self-promoting hustler? Is it, as Hucakbee said last night, all just Politics - i.e. "I'll like anyone who supports me"?

Will we ever get a leader who has integrity?
