Wednesday's "700 Club" featured a question about the Christian view of yoga. A concerned viewer asked, "Does it really have its origins in evil?" Pat Robertson gave the verdict: Yes! According to Pat, stretching is fine, but by repeating common yoga mantras, you are actually praying to Hindu gods Vishnu and Krishna and you're not even aware of it! Check out the clip below and tell us what you think. Is it wrong for Christians to practice yoga?

He's clearly becoming more senile. If this guy was your grandfather, wouldn't you be thinking, "Maybe we should be looking into nursing homes..."

People should realize that Robberson is not into religion to do good -- he's into it to do well! The only part of the so-called "good book" Pat is interested in is "The Profits".

Jesus talked about spiritual fruits, but we have been beset by religious nuts.

Lots of us are doing the yoga exercises without the mantras, and meditating silently. I guess ole Pat thinks that's the devil's work too. Can't have the vapid masses meditating quietly now, can we?

If I didn't do Yoga? God would leave my building and I might be incarcerated for commuter homicide. Pat? I don't think that Jesus can be bumped out his followers so easily. And while we at it, Pat , I can think of alot more dangerous words for a Christian to Speak. We can start with hate speech . ( "9/11 happened because of *the gays* and all the abortion in America " - not a direct quote of yours, Pat but close enough, eh? )

The real question is: is it ok for Christians to practice Christianity?

I stopped Yoga when I realized it was interfering with my holy belief in the tooth fairy.

Pat, it is total BS. You can change all Mantras to prayer of your chosing including

"I Am What I Am" which would roughly translate in a Mantra - "Sat Nam".

It is not about stretching but to experience the divinity that one is.

Everyone should get on the prayer request line at the 700 Club website and request that Pat Robberson pray for himself to be exorcised because he is full of the Devil.

Question: If you're not aware that you're praying, are you praying?

The greatest business ever created - God Inc. American christians have succumbed to the worst scam ever - evangelism. American evangelicals seek God through men promoting themselves as God's interpreter and quoting scripture like its a multiple choice test. The popularity of "Left Behind" demonstrates how evangelicals don't believe in God as much as they fear his wrath. It is ashame that these people feel they need to attend some megachurch with some slick haired southern preacher whose comfy lifestyle is courtesy of God Inc.
