It's interesting everytime I hear people like Richard Roberts or Beeny Hin, et al use the word "healing" I immediately interject the word "stealing" which is perhaps more accurate!

When I used to watch the Sunday morning televangelists, it took less than one sitting to realize that all this bible-thumping had nothing to do with salvation (whatever that is). It was all about the money and it is still all about the money. Back then they had more ways than Publishers Clearing House for getting you to think about sending them money. Copious tears always seemed to work the best.
In recent years these frauds have refined their methods as technology has advanced and they are often the first to see how all this high tech stuff can be used to increase their monetary yield.

I vaguely remember going to an Oral Roberts tent meeting back in the 50s. My father had lost his leg in an accident and a friend with polio talked him into going to see Roberts. The friend thought God was going to heal him, but father (a good Christian, but a realist) never had faith that God was going to regrow his leg. Well, the one with faith wasn't healed either.
