I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Karl Rove Smiles

Karl Rove told Charlie Rose during a recent interview that Congress had pushed President Bush to go into Iraq prematurely. According to Rove, the White House had been opposed to holding the war vote close to the 2002 elections because "we thought it made it too political."

This morning, former White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card went on MSNBC's Morning Joe and laughed off Rove's claims. Read part of the transcript from Think Progress:

SCARBOROUGH: We have to start with something that we all are talking about a couple of days ago where Karl Rove went on Charlie Rose and he blamed the Democrats for pushing him and the president into war. Is that how it worked?

CARD: No, that's not the way it worked.

Card went on to explain that sometimes Rove's "mouth gets ahead of his brain":

SCARBOROUGH: Is that just Karl spinning beyond the White House? ...

CARD: Well, Karl is very smart. He's -- sometimes his brain gets ahead of his mouth. And sometimes his mouth gets ahead of his brain.

Just Gimmie Some Truth

I'm sick and tired of hearing things
From uptight, short-sighted, narrow-minded hypocritics
All I want is the truth
Just gimme some truth
I've had enough of reading things
By neurotic, psychotic, pig-headed politicians
All I want is the truth
Just gimme some truth

No short-haired, yellow-bellied, son of tricky dicky
Is gonna mother hubbard soft soap me
With just a pocketful of hope
Money for dope
Money for rope

No short-haired, yellow-bellied, son of tricky dicky
Is gonna mother hubbard soft soap me
With just a pocketful of soap
Money for dope
Money for rope

I'm sick to death of seeing things
From tight-lipped, condescending, mama's little chauvinists
All I want is the truth
Just gimmie the truth!

The whole damn mess is so irrational and chaotic that the pentagon and white house could cherry-pick any statistic they want to, just like the patreaus report or our delusional economy for that matter. I've been Pavlov'd to not believe any thing the lyings sacks of shit in the Bush Administration have to say. If you do believe them, then you are like the battered wife who won't leave her husband "because he really needs me"....

Rebublicans are weak, cowardly, and intellectually inadequate. They may not believe in evolution, but that's fine because it will take care of them for us.

Now that the surge is clearly a mammoth success, Rumsfeld & Wolfowitz can give Shinseki a call and say, "see, we told you so."

General Shinseki told the Senate Armed Services Committee that it would take a force of about 100,000 troops to maintain a safe and secure environment after shock & awe.

Wolfowitz & Rumsfeld said he was way off the mark, and that a force of about 250,000 would be needed.

Bush listened to the General, and the rest is history.

Rove deserves a prison cell, just like Libby. Just like their bosses Dumbya and Cheney. Their lies, corruption, greed, illegal activities and treasonous actions have set back our nation for decades and generations.

Why do people keep claiming that Karl Rove is smart? Just because he constantly gets away with bullcrap doesn't make him smart. It makes him a cheating lying SOB!

Is that a polite way of saying that Rove is, um, LYING?

Rove'sw mouth gets ahead of his brain?

Eeewww! The less I know about where Rove's mouth goes/is the happier I'll be. Besides, if I wanted to know where Rove's mouth has been, I'd just ask Gannon/Guckert.

The World According to VogonsCyptolect's:

"I'm going to stick my head in his [Harry Reid] holy underwear..."

Wow Vogon, I don't even want to know what THAT's all about.

"If you had your way, Saddam and sons would be raping Iraq for the next 50 years. What do you have to say about that?"
Yes you got me. Love them "rape rooms." Like I assume Reagan, H.W. etc. did when Saddam was an ally of convenience. Like I can assume you are smugly satisfied that your devotion to the cause cancels out the thought that we have assisted in the deaths of thousands upon thousands of innocent children. They disappear into a fine red mist (with chunks of flesh and bone).
Just as I, in the spirit of the "Rape Rooms" can assume that a couple of years ago you probably had rape fantasies involving Donald Rumsfeld, come on admit it, it was all in the name of being a good/real american. God you're disgusting....

CARD: "Well, Karl is very smart. He's -- sometimes his brain gets ahead of his mouth. And sometimes his mouth gets ahead of his brain." Great circular statement.

Both Rove and Card are the Kings of Spin and typical of the insane liars that Bush/Cheney attracts.

Aren't you proud of your criminal White House?
