Washington Post:

Former White House aide Karl Rove said yesterday it was Congress, not President Bush, who wanted to rush a vote on the looming war in Iraq in the fall of 2002, a version of events disputed by leading congressional Democrats and even some former Rove colleagues.

Rove said that the administration did not want lawmakers to vote on a resolution authorizing the use of force against Iraq that soon because it would "make things move too fast," before Bush could line up international allies, and politicize the issue ahead of midterm elections. But Democrats and some Republicans involved with the issue at the time said yesterday that Bush wanted a quick vote.

Well, once again, everything that Rove says makes perfect sense, doesn't it?

I mean, we all know how Bush has been bowing to pressure from the Democrats every since he first stepped into the Oval Orifice. He can't resist them. Every move he's made over the past 7 years has been at their behest.

So what's the news?

This guy is a fucking idiot!
He's playing with fire and if he's not careful he's going to dig his own grave. To keep goading the beast like this is beyond comprehension. Stop while your ahead.
Go sit down and shut the fuck up!!!!!
Rove is getting into O.J. territory and sooner or later the angry mob will get a REAL hold of him and that beast is gonna bite down hard.
My advice to Rove:
STOP ANTAGONIZING YOUR ENEMIES.

More insane administration spin on Iraq.

Breaking news - The administration is attempting to link al Qaeda with the Shia majority in Iraq. This is really insane considering 2/3rds of Iraq is Shia and less than 1/3 is Sunni.

Now, consider that Iran is a Shia majority and the goal of their false linkage becomes clear. Simply to justify an attack on Iran.

Since Americans know nothing of this part of the world, Rovian Spin may work? Who invented al Qaeda, the enemy of convenience?

Question everything and save our country.

Rove says hurricane Katrina, opposed by the Dems, was just the thing needed to end the drought in the Southeast and the fires in the Southwest.

ROVE MUST BE ON COKE OR SOME OTHER ILLEGAL DRUG!

I asked this question the first time Rove spouted this nonsense:

Is there no bright lawyer out there who sees a way to file a slander lawsuit against this guy? Or perhaps, when his book comes out, sue for libel?

Karl Rove's intellectual dishonesty was fully formed during his early years, working with Young Republicans and CREEP, the Committee to RE-Elect the President (Nixon) in the early seventies.

He is called turd blossum because he makes things grow from lies, (or bullshit, to use the vernacular)

His gift is in sounding reasonable while distorting facts and out-right lying. Charlie Rose's interview offered a rare widow into the Rovian method, not by what he said, but rather by what he tried very hard NOT TO SAY.

When he was trying to absolve himself of the guilt of Plamegate, by passing his portion to Richard Armitage. He said "... of course, he [Armitage] didn't receive the press attention or... or, the ... " and I think the word he was about to use was "opprobrium." but then he thought about it and realized how it would play with the GOP base, and also the amateur psychologists.

Karl's father abandoned him and his mother when the mother found out that his father was having a sexual affair with a man.

Here's a link to some insightful synonyms for "opprobrium" (see if you can imagine a young Karl Rove finding solace in The Young Republicans after feeling abandoned by his father in this way.)

http://thesaurus.reference.com/browse/opprobrium

The man is a ghost. Like the characters in Ibsen's "Ghosts" he hides what is obvious, because "the sins of the father" have been "revisited upon the son."

What's sad isn't that the Karl Rove's of this world can manipulate us, it's that none of us are willing to recognize it or call them out when they do.

Karl is a bald faced liar. Newsweek is a collaborator. They hired Kos, to ligitimize Rove as counterbalance.

I call for a boycott of Newsweek, and an end to fascist propaganda.

I am just amazed that he could come right out and say this and then not even be called on it on the spot.

If I remember my history correctly, the Republicans had the majority from 1994 to 2006. The vote to go to war was in the fall of 2002, (if you do the math that would be 4 years BEFORE Dems got a majority). Bush started his whole "we have to get Saddam", " we need to invade Iraq", "WMD's", rah-rah-rah in early 2002. Followed by the "congress better VOTE YES for war", because you are either with us (Bush and his administration) or with them (insert bad-guy here).

VITAMIN B1 DEFICIENCY! That's Roves problem...

He suffers from Korsakoff's syndrome, named for Sergei Korsakoff, which is a "degenerative brain disorder caused by the lack of thiamine (vitamin B1) in the brain."

Symptoms:

Anterograde amnesia: loss of memory occuring after the injury which caused the amnesia,

Retrograde amnesia: loss of memory of all events prior to the injury-causing one.

Confabulation: invented memories which are then taken as true.

Blackouts: a phenomenon caused by the intake of alcohol in which long term memory creation is impaired.

Lack of insight: the power of acute observation and deduction.

Lack of Apathy: a state where an individual has an absence of concern toward a person, activity or environment.

Treatment:
Replacing the thiamine by IV or intramuscular (IM) injections

Proper nutrition and hydration.

In some cases, drug therapy is recommended.

If treatment is successful, signs will show within two years though recovery is slow and often incomplete.

Karl Rove believes in his heart of hearts, that, if he repeats a lie long enough, it will be come a truth.

That's how evil works. Neo-Fascism too!

Nutcases with duct tape and road flares are stalking Hillary.

How can you ask about the War?
Or about Hillary's forced pay health care scam?

The White House's own website refutes Rove's claim, as do any one of a number of articles one can Google.

"This was a meritless publicity stunt by the biggest sack of shit in history," is what the REAL history books will say about Karl Rove.

Randy

PS Sorry, Chuckle Nuts, but we haven't forgotten that the REAL debate is why are we still in Iraq, not your pustulant media clown routine.

Still falling for the Democrats versus Republicans ploy?

Name the difference in foreign policy (i.e. Iraq, Iran, Israel and the rest of the Middle East) between the top Democratic and Republican presidential contenders.

The Ron Paul R3V0Lution is here.
