John Edwards voted for the war and I don't see anything about that in any discussions (if you want to characterize them as "discussions.")
I am voting for Hillary Clinton, not because she is white, not because she is a woman, not because we are the same age but because she is the only Democratic candidate that can take on the right wing and beat them at their own game. If you want to fault her for her lack of experience, then you need to look at the pop star's Obama's record.
He didn't vote for or against the war because he didn't have to - he was a state senator from Chicago hanging out in Springfield, Illinois when U.S. Senators were voting. He can say all he wants that he was against the war but that doesn't mean he is a good leader. A better indicator of how Mr. Obama would be as a leader was his reaction to the Bob Novak column a couple of weeks agowhen he alleged the Clinton campaign had dirt they were not releasing on Obama. Rather than challenge a well known Republican operative and liar and show some real stand up statesmanship by telling Novak to "show the goods" he immediately attacked the Clinton campaign.
Obama has never had to wage a hard battle against an opponent. In 2004 when he won the Senate seat in Illinois, his opponent was Alan Keyes a right wing nut case that was thrown to the wolves by the Republican party when Jack Ryan, who was favored to win against Obama, had to drop out because of another Republican sex scandel.
He can "turn all the pages" he wants but he still has to deal with the opposition (Karl Rove anyone). When he pays his dues, when he has been sliced and diced, when he has been bloodied and swift boated, when there has been an investigation into everything he has done, said (and didn't do and didn't say), and he is still standing, then maybe he will be qualified to be president but not now.

it is funny that Hillary is at the bottom of my list among the Democratic candidates and, yet, when I see attacks such as those posted by usindependents and godlessclif, I want to defend her.
I would still most likely not vote for Hillary, but I wonder what effect these absurd attacks have on people who might be deciding between, say Obama and Hillary or Edwards and Hillary.
Why don't you guys stay with issues, and convince people that she is wrong on many important issues, which she indeed is. What is this "stophillary.com", "againsthillary.com", and "Hillary is a liar" bullshit.
Get a life, will you?
I have HD but comcast is not showing it because they do not have HDNET. I thought they said it would be on C-span 1 on time delay. Is this true? Will anybody on the west coast be able to see this?
They will purge out comments anyway. Hillary is a liar.
Regular cable won't get it?
It's not on NPR at this time.
Immigration is the hot issue and Iowa seems to be the crucible.
?
Great!
too bad we can't see it unless we have an HDTV and HDNet o_o
