At a news conference here just now, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton expanded her attacks on Senator Barack Obama by suggesting that he has a character issue because of his assertions that his health insurance plan covers all Americans (which she disputes) and because his old political action committee spread around money in early presidential nominating states.

Asked if Mr. Obama had a character problem, Mrs. Clinton first said it was up for voters to determine, but then added:

Folks, it's time to get serious about the Democratic Nomination. Hill is too negative, polarizing;full of subterfuges and hidden agendas.
She was wrong on Iraq and Iran.
She is proving,at least to this humble observer / voter, that there is a hidden agenda at work in the positions she's taken.
Let's settle who our nominee will be at the convention; this is one of those times when it might be wiser to do so.
Let's start to give some serious thought to a
Gore/Obama ticket.
Hill would not be our best candidate with which
to regain the White House(I have strong doubts about her electability; she would have to spend too much time on defense given her negatives).
Anybody out there thinks like Me?

I'm so glad Hillary has decided to inform the nation about Obama's character problems.

LAUGH. Like she didn't lie to us about Watergate, whitewater, the fact that she knew about Bill and ALL of his flings including Monica, then lets remember those pardons they were selling, the furniture she stole on the way out of the whitehouse, taking all that money form all those boards in Ark which was nothing more than influence peddling.

Yeah, if anyone is an expert on flawed Character, it's a Clinton.

I can't wade through 1300+ posts, so forgive me if I'm repeating someone else's comments, but...

IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS!

Nothing new from Clinton here, attack when your lead fads. The bogus hostage situation Friday was contrived to make her look "Presidential". In the end, if she cannot control Bill, she can hardly be expected to "handle" or manage anything else.

Hillary is starting to sound desperate.

How can we expect Hillary to keep the country in line when she couldn't even keep her own husband in line?

Obama all the way!

And Rove coming out pretending to give him 'advice' only plants the the worry into some people that Obama might be close to the same group that Bush and Rove are.

I heard Barack had to stay in during recess one day. Clearly he is not to be trusted.

Obama Vs. Clinton: The Battle of the Moneyed Political Status Quo Egos

Hillary = Bush lite

Obama = Hillary lite

Iowan voters wish Hillary had Obama's fresh ideas. Iowan voters wish Obama had Hillary's experience.

Iowan voters end up voting for JOHN EDWARDS, the complete package of fresh ideas -AND- experience in the democratic party WITHOUT the PAC money and lobbyist money shenanigans!

It's the pot calling the kettle ..... Clinton's has a character problem as well; she has none.
Both are elf serving twits. I hope they take each other out.
If they had any sense, they'd aim their guns at the GOP. However, that might prove embarrassing since they both vote for the murderous, elitist policies of the right wing.

Guess what Robert Reich (Labor Secretary under Bill Clinton) wrote on his blog(http://robertreich.blogspot.com/2007/12/why-is-hrc-stooping-so-low.html)? He defends Obama against Hillary's attacks. Here is a sample:

"I"m becoming increasingly concerned about the stridency and inaccuracy of charges in Iowa -- especially coming from my old friend (Hillary Clinton). While I"m as hard-boiled as they come about what"s said in campaigns, I just don"t think Dems should stoop to this. First, HRC attacked (Obama's) plan for keep Social Security solvent. Social Security doesn"t need a whole lot to keep it going " it"s in far better shape than Medicare " but everyone who"s looked at it agrees it will need bolstering (I was a trustee of the Social Security Trust Fund ten years ago, and I can vouch for this). Obama wants to do it by lifting the cap on the percent of income subject to Social Security payroll taxes, which strikes me as sensible. That cap is now close to $98,000 (it"s indexed), and the result is highly regressive. (Bill Gates satisfies his yearly Social Security obligations a few minutes past midnight on January 1 every year.) The cap doesn"t have to be lifted all that much to keep Social Security solvent " maybe to $115,00. That"s a progressive solution to the problem. HRC wants to refer Social Security to a commission. That's avoiding the issue, and it's irresponsible: A commission will likely call either for raising the retirement age (that"s what Greenspan"s Social Security commission came up with in the 1980s) or increasing the payroll tax on all Americans. So when HRC charges that Obama"s plan would "raise taxes" and her plan wouldn"t, she"s simply not telling the truth.

"I"m equally concerned about her attack on his health care plan. She says his would insure fewer people than hers. I"ve compared the two plans in detail. Both of them are big advances over what we have now. But in my view Obama"s would insure more people, not fewer, than HRC"s."

Whoa?!!!

Hillary Clinton's BILL PROBLEM outweighs any problems Obama has as a candidate. She has already demonstrated that she has no control over Bill Clinton. If elected, Hillary Clinton would spend half her time defending herself against GOP insults, and the other half quieting that little bill dog that keeps yapping at her heels and contradicting her.

Bill Clinton would be a worse family liability than Billy Carter. If he is too arrogant to shut up during Clinton's campaign, what do you think he'd do if she were elected? He would be a daily nuisance and a drain on her and the nation.

Hmmm..

With old Clinton cronies like Robert Reich stating that her campaign lacks conviction about anything, Hillary is in no position to throw stones.
