Guy Ritchie's face was balloon red, as a muscular man with shoulders a refrigerator's width apart sat on top of him and pinned him to the floor. The match, part of a jujitsu class in Beverly Hills, appeared finished, but suddenly Mr. Ritchie, 39, dressed in a short tied robe and striped Adidas pants, hooked his toes inside the armpit of his opponent's jacket, rolled the giant man over and held him to the floor with a foot against his neck.

"What's so great about this," Mr. Ritchie said later, "is that with the right technique, the little guy can overpower someone bigger than himself."

I think Guy Ritchie is trying to recover his dignity from this incident:

No man or woman will likely ever match Madonna's massive success. However, that is no reason to label her husband, Guy Ritchie as Mr. Madonna. He is quite successful on his own.

Richie directed two of the best movies in modern history. He's a lot more than Mr. Madonna. But this is, after all, MSM 'entertainment' writing. Disgustingly vapid even given its vapid subjects. Even Paris Hilton is more substative than Jamie Diamond here.

Am I the only person uncomfortable with this headline? Even if Guy Ritchie wasn't well known before marrying Madonna--why was it necessary to call him Mr. Madonna? I'm not all that interested in these people but it seems as though in our society if you choose to become a public figure we can as a society erase our lines of propriety and privacy and pursue a scorched earth policy of hunting and unearthing any piece of information that can be spun or blown out of proportion. We follow you or your children, we chase you down, we make up false headlines that line magazine racks and we cast aspersions all in the name of free speech.
