Not that you have asked for advice, but here it is anyway: Iowa is your chance to best her. If you do not do it there, odds are you never will anywhere. You are way behind her in most national polls. The only way to change that is to beat her in Iowa so people around America take another look at you. You did a smart thing organising effectively in the early primary states. But you can take advantage of that only if you win Iowa and keep her from building an overwhelming sense of invincibility and inevitability.

The good news is you have again got "the buzz". Polls are looking better for you in Iowa and the other early states. Your press is improving, with your performance at the Iowa Jefferson-Jackson dinner a big help. Hillary Clinton has made unforced errors. But she is still the frontrunner and there are several things you need to do quickly to win.

News Flash: Karl Rove is paid to help the Republican Party. His memo to Obama is intended to get the two Dem front-runners in a public squabble. How does this help the R's? It puts a stopper in the big hole in their bucket. With no clear candidate of their own, more defecting R's are likely to accept Obama's intelligence and clean appeal. By enticing Obama to become more aggressive, he'll risk appearing more like HRC - leaving no clear choice for defecting Republicans. Get it? This is my humble opinion.

Yeah, Obama seems to be on the wavelenght already- fake honesty and you got it made- wonder where empty suit Obama got his idea to invoke Reagan in his platitude fests....either way, his wink and nod to republicans are alarming and stupid as well.

I say, sure O, listen to one of the most deceitful fucks in public life...no surprise he cut his teeth with one of Nixon's most corrupt propagandists. Go Obama Faust awaits you.

I mentioned here in huffpo 3 or 4 days ago, Obama is getting his advice from Karl Rove, and WHAM! There goes the open Memo of Rove to Obama how to attack HRC.

I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!

Rove is fat, ugly in so many ways and is the most evil civil servant since the death of J. Edgar Hoover.

I really resent the media, including HuffPo, only giving coverage to these two. There are other, better candidates.

This ostensibly liberal site does a remarkable job of ignoring the liberals.

A cleverly written 'unsolicited memo' to help Hillary? BIG SURPRISE!

Unless the Republicans run against Hillary, they don't have a prayer in this election.

Let's see. The best chance we have to win next year is by nominating one of the most polarizing figures in Washington (Hillary)?

Good god, this country is doomed.

Guess what Robert Reich (Labor Secretary under Bill Clinton) wrote on his blog(http://robertreich.blogspot.com/2007/12/why-is-hrc-stooping-so-low.html)? He defends Obama against Hillary's attacks. Here is a sample:

"I"m becoming increasingly concerned about the stridency and inaccuracy of charges in Iowa -- especially coming from my old friend (Hillary Clinton). While I"m as hard-boiled as they come about what"s said in campaigns, I just don"t think Dems should stoop to this. First, HRC attacked (Obama's) plan for keep Social Security solvent. Social Security doesn"t need a whole lot to keep it going " it"s in far better shape than Medicare " but everyone who"s looked at it agrees it will need bolstering (I was a trustee of the Social Security Trust Fund ten years ago, and I can vouch for this). Obama wants to do it by lifting the cap on the percent of income subject to Social Security payroll taxes, which strikes me as sensible. That cap is now close to $98,000 (it"s indexed), and the result is highly regressive. (Bill Gates satisfies his yearly Social Security obligations a few minutes past midnight on January 1 every year.) The cap doesn"t have to be lifted all that much to keep Social Security solvent " maybe to $115,00. That"s a progressive solution to the problem. HRC wants to refer Social Security to a commission. That's avoiding the issue, and it's irresponsible: A commission will likely call either for raising the retirement age (that"s what Greenspan"s Social Security commission came up with in the 1980s) or increasing the payroll tax on all Americans. So when HRC charges that Obama"s plan would "raise taxes" and her plan wouldn"t, she"s simply not telling the truth.

"I"m equally concerned about her attack on his health care plan. She says his would insure fewer people than hers. I"ve compared the two plans in detail. Both of them are big advances over what we have now. But in my view Obama"s would insure more people, not fewer, than HRC"s."

Whoa?!!!

"What the ????? I thought Rove wanted to run against Hillary." So why would he and Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity be giving Obama advice to go after Hillary? Huh!

Right from Joseph Gobbels mouth !!!

Americans need to get used to the idea there may very well be NO ELECTION in 08.

Bush/Cheney have a False Flag operation up their sleeves that will make 9/11 look like a summer picnic. Millions will die. Bush will gain Absolute Power, the World will plunge into World War III.

13 More months Bush has his finger on the Nuclear Button - lets not forget that.

I believe in redemption, to a point. I think if Karl Rove volunteered to help restore John McCain's confidence and the years he lost due to Rove and Bush's sliming, I might believe he had some redeeming qualities.

But having slimed John McCain, and damaged him forever, he put into office one George W. Bush who has managed to kill thousands and thousands of people.

And then he slimed two more veterans, Max Cleland and John Kerry. Folks who post here who want to claim that it was their fault for not getting out in front of the slime earlier need not bother... People who are lied about and slimed owe no apologies for the fact. The personal destruction for which Karl Rove has earned his fame outweighs any use he might now want to make of his life.

I'm sure Michelle and Barack Obama know exactly what Karl Rove is.

You gotta love this. One side says, "There, proof he wants Obama to win." The other side says, "He's using reverse psychology so that Hillary will win."

Did nobody else see The Princess Bride? Both glasses are poisoned!!! (Hope I didn't ruin that for anyone.) OK, enough stalling...here's the punchline...

The answer clearly is that he doesn't want anybody talking about Edwards!

This is brilliant. Rove recognizes Hillary is a fellow rightwinger, who supports all the core policies of his boy Bush, so he can help her win by appearing to support her main rival, knowing all the Democratic sheep will have a knee-jerk reaction to anything he says and flock around her.

Voting for HRC will be like voting for four more years of Bush.

Rove is not trying to help Obama, and I hope Obama understands that. Rove is simply trying to use Barack to do whatever damage he can do.

Rove would only be encouraging Obama if he felt certain Obama could hurt Clinton, but have little or no chance of beating the Republican nominee.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 12:40 PM on 12/03/2007

So Rove fears both Ms. Clinton, and Mr. Obama, and sees either of them as the likely Democrat Nominee.

And he wants them to get nastier with each other. And the "memo" is an obvious ploy from Rove in an attempt to foster a nastier intra-dem campaign.

(I'm yet still undecided as to which Dem candidate to support.)

Alot of the talking points that Rove mentioned seem to be the standard GOP talking points against Ms. Clinton. --- Except that Rove wants Obama to give these talking points legitimacy, and a democrat's voice.

And in corollary, if Ms. Clinton digs up dirt or talking points against Obama, then she would be blamed for originating them, and not the GOP nominee -- whose camp would gleefully pounce and elaborate upon such talking points.

In any case, it's obvious that Rove wants the Dems to lay the groundwork for an anti-Obama or an anti-Hillary Clinton campaign.

If either candidate even appears to lay into any sexist or racial inneundo, then it would shield the GOP nominee from moral backlash, when his camp exploits any such TP's to the fullest.

People seem to have amnesia. Recall Bush won in 2000 by campaigning heavily on restoring dignity to the WH after the Clinton scandals. The last thing you want to do is try and run a Clinton after a disastrous Bush White House - people are polarized enough and it doesn't help to try to put a polarizing figure back in the White House. Right now it's Dems that are pissed, if Clinton is back there, it will be Repubs that are pissed and both get our country nowhere. In the Repubs eye, a Clinton nod is an attempt to put "scandal" back in the White House and they, joined many Dems and Independents are going to object to that. The Repubs have 12+ years worth of dirt on Clinton they're just eager to throw. That's why Rove, Bush, Guiliani and others are all baiting the Dems to pick Hillary. Obama, Edwards, Biden, heck the whole rest of the field, the Repubs have little to nothing on and they will have an easier run than Clinton. Clearly the Repubs are a party of hunters because they're following simple hunting strategy and unfortunately, most Dems seem utterly clueless to realize it.

Biden's not going to win anything...that's obvious, the guys full of himself. You two should stay at home and not vote. If you want to help our country join the Kucinich or Paul campaigns.

Use your heads for more than doorstops. Rove is not trying to encourage people to vote Hillary because she is the weakest candidate. He is not using reverse psychology and assuming his support for Obama will drive people to Hillary's camp.

Rove is using these articles to give undue credibility to the crap he is spewing. No one will buy his strait out harsh critique of Hillary. Oh she's too angry, too shrill, too tricky like Bill, too chubby like Rove. People will say Rove is a stinking turd who helped destroy our country, why listen to him. But if he says "Obama, here is how to beat Hillary. Remind people that she's too angry, too shrill, too tricky like Bill, too chubby like Rove." His work is done. People will read it and focus on "Rove helpng Obama?" (what the f**k)and all along buying into Rove's harsh assessment of Hillary without even thinking about it. The real coup will be if Obama picks up on his advice and executes on it. You know...does the heavy lifting. Then the work of the Republican nominee will have begun six month in advance of the general election. The nominee , likely Hillary, will be licking her wounds from the damage by her own party's use of the republican playbook.

WAKE UP PEOPLE> STOP THIS SELF HATING SELF DESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIOR>>>SUPPORT ALL OF OUR CANDIDATES AND STOP WORKING FOR THE LIKES OF KARL " the steaming turd" ROVE.

I hope someone reads this.Rove has motives. You know it. So act like it.
They are behind. They are making their moves.
Rove is cool as cucumber. He thinks it's all a game. Don't play.
Settle your disputes off line. Stop trashing Obama and Hillary here and everywhere.
Don't you realize they are here? Reading? Learning? Uh, Mining?
Forget Hucakabee. They are running Giuliani. He speaks to all the induced paranoia of Americans. He speaks to all the soft-peddled racism of the masses. He speaks for their Cheyneyesque military policies and their Friedmanesque economic policies.
HE is their man.

Here's the important and intsructive part.
HE DOESN'T REPRESENT THEIR VALUES! Not for a minute. The religious right embraced him. He"s been 'blessed'
They have set aside their differences and their agendas and (like last time) picked the guy they think will win. They've ironically, struck a bargain with the devil. (Or possibly Rudy has.)
But collectioın day will come - after the election " like it did last time.
Remember when the "Great Uniter" divided the nation in two? Weeks after the election.

Wake up! Compromise behind which ever one can win. Do it soon.
