Jennifer Love Hewitt Defends Bikini Pictures: "A Size 2 Is Not Fat!"

Jennifer Love Hewitt, newly engaged, has taken to her blog over the criticism of her body during the widespread distribution of photos of her in a bikini.

This is the last time I will address this subject.

I've sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women's bodies are constantly scrutinized. To set the record straight, I'm not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image.

A size 2 is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size 0 doesn't make you beautiful.

What I should be doing is celebrating some of the best days of my life and my engagement to the man of my dreams, instead of having to deal with photographers taking invasive pictures from bad angles. I know what I look like, and so do my friends and family. And like all women out there should, I love my body.

To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini -- put it on and stay strong.

Well they changed the sizes a few years ago. My wife now wears a 0 where a few years ago she was a 5.

I agree that there is nothing wrong with being a size two.

However, if you are, say, BIGGER than a size two, you might want to consider buying a new bikini.

My body resembles hers, same kind of body type, and I wear between 6-10, depending on the style & brand. My doctor told me to lose about 20 lbs., so I don't think it's preposterous to call someone overweight who looks like that - what is crazy is basing your self-esteem on how much cellulite you have. I am so much more than my body it's not even funny.

And sorry but I am not a fan of big asses and in those pics taken at the beach from behind, she's got a big butt on her.

While I applaud her standing and stating that size zero is unhealthy (and it is) nonetheless she is not in the best shape she could be. Waist down she looks like she is turning into a lard butt.

And she's a beautiful woman no doubt but that butt and upper thighs are hardly a size 2 or good looking by a lot of standards.

The longest life expectancy on the planet can be found among women in Japan. The largest factors are diet and body weight. Why do American women look older than their age, while asian women always look younger? Oprah has brainwashed everyone in America into accepting overweight as being "healthy" or "okay". It isn't. Research in nutrition has shown that the human body was designed for starvation and that we actually thrive when our bodies are slightly deprived. But most people would rather think that the American Land Whale, breasts the size of watermelons, and butts that could be politely termed "double wide" are the picture of health.

Jennifer Love Hewitt isn't fat. Not even close, but fat isn't healthy. And most Americans are fat.
