I Like ItI Don’t Like It

The Bush Administration is actively blocking Congress' investigation into the outing of once-covert CIA agent Valerie Plame, according to House Oversight Committee chairman Henry Waxman.

In a letter sent today to Attorney General Michael Mukasey, Waxman notes that "White House objections are preventing Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald from disclosing key information to investigating officials." Among the documents being withheld are interviews taken from White House officers during Fitzgerald's investigation into the leak of Plame's identity.

"Over the summer, Mr. Fitzgerald agreed to provide relevant documents to the Committee, including records of interviews with senior White House officials. Unfortunately, the White House has been blocking Mr. Fitzgerald from providing key documents to the Committee," Waxman writes to newly appointed Mukasey. "I ask that you personally look into this matter and authorize the production of the documents to the Committee without any further delay."

Waxman's letter provides one of the first tests for Mukasey, who stressed during his confirmation hearings that he would operate independently from White House directive. The letter also provides greater insight into the extent of collaboration between Fitzgerald and the oversight committee.

There has always been, and always will be the one thing that works best.

...the anonymous internal leak, via mass email. Who needs a deep throat, except Republican Senators in men's rooms....today, we have deep blogs.

Why is it everyday the Bush is in power, is just one day closer to the type of Government the USSR once had, and appears to be heading back towards.
Im sure Bush is envious of Putin's use of fear and Chavez style political antics, and really wishes he could do the same. Unfortunately , the Demorats are not.

There is a little hope, at least the new intelligence report saying Iran had stopped its nuclear weapon research a while back and it could be much longer before they have any chance of making one.
Then again, Bush claims to talk directly to God and screams WW3 now. And Bush's newest claim of stopping Iran from having Knowledge is just retarded unless Iranians are as stupid as his supporters, then you dont have to worry. But in a normal learning human being, you just can stop knowledge.

It has become abundantly clear that there is but one political realpolitik in the United States of America.

The global corporatists allow two "wings" for political theatre and for controlling the masses. Both political wings are completely bought and paid for by these corporate oligarchs.

The price paid by the former ambassador and CIA spy-wife is the cost of betraying the corporate globalists. Nothing will happen to the corporatists or their neocon henchmen - absolutely nothing at all.

A recent study in Japan has shown that chimpanzees can perform some interlectual tasks faster that humans. I think we should stop calling Bush the Chimp. We may be insulting chimpanzees

By falsely mislabeling the Iraq occupation and the forgotten Afghanistan war the "global war on terrorism" Commander Codpiece has made the entire globe a battlefield, including the USA. Any attempt to disrupt the flow of government at such a time would be a threat to national security in their eyes and I'm sure you don't want to go there folks now do you?

I want to see them all swing from the gallows myself. Now is no time to hand them the national upset they pray for each and every night at the hour of sleep.

These are lunatics folks. And somehow they got the keys to the asylum. It will take a hero of unprecedented ability to take them down at this point.

Let us pray. ;)

Why am I not surprised to read this today. Bush and his cronies will go down in history as the liars, cheats and criminals that they admonish others as being. I have utter disgust for all of them. We can't get the Republicans out of office too soon.

seriously it is time to forget about bush and plamegate. A few days ago the publi was introduced toHillary in a completly different wa, her grace and bravery during the hostage siege cannot be trumpeted enough. Hillary was calm, re-assuring, kind, motherly and regal as she dealt with a personal tragedy. We are all blessed to have her in the Senate and we are lucky that she has decided (probably against her will) to run for president. The country needds her she is a delicate flower in a bed of thorny weeds. her soothing voice and melodic laughter softens even the hardest of her enemies. I cannot wait to have her as president.

Mukasey never should have been confirmed as AG without a real fight from Democrats.

Bush should be impeached over this Plame CIA outing for treason.

http://www.afterdowningstreet.org/?q=node/28857

Democrats need to follow their oath of Office and move forward on impeachment.

Kucinich has the HR333 to deal with this in process.

Our nation needs to begin to rebuild our shattered image in the world.
Holding our war criminals accountable would be a great first step.

Impeach for peace!!!

The Bush/Cheney administration is very good for lawyers. Let's see? The taxpayers are paying for the Office of the Obstruction of Investigating MIC Graft and Corruption in Iraq, the Offices of Obstruction of Justice on Behalf of Karl Rove, Alberto Gonzalez, Dick Cheney, et all, the Office of Constitutional Dismemberment, the Office of Destruction of Emails, the Office of Committing Treason which includes Plame's issues, Condi's 9/11 Lies, War Lies Leading up to the Invasion of Iraq, the new Office of Attacking Iran based on Total Bullshit and the Office of Assorted Pettyfoggery Yet Undisclosed.

The Bush/Cheney swine herd is feeding frenzy for lawyers, indeed.

And y'all voted for them, TWICE!

Obstruction? Treason? Lies? Torture? Illegal wiretapping? Shitting on the constitution in general? War profiteering? In bed with BIG oil? Selling out the people for corporations? Incompetent leadership on things like the war in Iraq and Katrina? Not in the Dumbya Bu$h White House. Remember, he said he was going to restore honor and integrity to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

RE - POST:

OKAY, Bloggers...LET'S GO!!!!

I've been busy today, calling this one, googling that one! Here's what I need to share with you:

The resolution to impeach Cheney (HR 333) has been forwarded to The Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties - Chaired by the Hon.Jerrold Nadler. This Subcommittee has 8 Democrats, and 5 Republicans: and oddly enough, one of those Democrats is John Conyers Jr.
Phone number for Hon. Jerrold Nadler in DC is: 202-225-5635

After the Subcommittee reviews and rules on resolution, it goes to House Judiciary Committee, which is chaired by John Conyers Jr. And...Jerrold Nadler also sits on House Judiciary Committee!!!
John Conyers Jr. phone number in DC is 202-225-5126.

Email form for Judiciary members is the same for all; send one form to Nadler and INSIST they put HR 333 on the calender IMMEDIATELY;and send bill to House Judiciary Committee.
Send separate email to Conyers and tell him you want HR 333 to go through Subcommittee now - and he needs to put on House Judiciary calendar as soon as possible.
email form found at:
http://judiciary.house.gov/Contact.aspx

For interesting bio on Conyers, google him - quite a maverick - Moveon.orgrg - etc.
We GOTTA get him to move on this!!!

Thanx!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't seen the trolls this happy since the last time the Chimp used his veto crayon to deny the troops proper rest breaks and training or medical benefits for head trauma.

Party on trolls!

Yeah, Mukasey will get to the bottom of this. And Santa will come down my chimney. Even though I have no chimney, somehow he will do it!
