A driving instructor has sued the makers of the movie "Borat," accusing them of lying to him about the nature of the crass comedy by telling him he'd be in a documentary about the integration of immigrants into U.S. life.

The lawsuit was brought Tuesday by lawyers for Michael Psenicska, a Baltimore high school mathematics teacher who has owned a driving school in Perry Hall, Md., for the last 32 years.

I thought there were parts of it that were
funny, other parts of it were definitely NOT
funny...the movie was more about the United
States than it was about kazakhstan, bank-shot
politics disguised as comedy...but, what else
is new...

Given some clever thought, this guy could have probably cashed in nicely on his appearance in Borat without resorting to legal action.

Every lost lawsuit filed should end with the judge making a determination as to whether the case was frivolous. If so, the characters who bring them should be on the hook for whatever the defendant paid his lawyers plus a fine that gets split between the defendant and the county that had to waste its time on the suit. That MIGHT give pause to people who try to cash in on another's success -- but probably not.

that's too bad... this guy was one of the better "sports" in dealing with Borat, and was very likable...

clearly the cabdriver wasn't satisfied with other people making him look foolish, and is now hellbent to take matters into his own hands

I'm suing because I wasn't in the movie.

Didn't this movie come out about two years ago? Where's this guy been? Did he just crawl back out from under his rock or did he decide with new DVD sales, there might be a few extra bucks in it for him? I think the judge should throw out the case simply for being "passe".

Gee, I though it'd be that freak on last week's video clip speaking in tongues.

Yep, that 500 bucks sounded too good to be true at the time! You know what they say...
On the other hand, this is the U, S, and A. Go to court and see if you can get the terms of the contract changed.
