National support for Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton and Republican Rudy Giuliani significantly eroded during the past month, a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds. The sign of volatility in both parties comes a month before the Iowa caucuses open the presidential primary season.

Clinton's standing among Democrats dropped by 11 percentage points from early November, and Giuliani's standing among Republicans fell by 9 points, though both continue to lead their fields.

Seriously, how could anyone have thought Rudy EVER had a chance to win the GOP nomination? If you think his latest NYPD/cabbie situation is the end of his problems, you are much mistaken. The New York press has file cabinets full of these problems. Now we find out that conservative of the day Mitt Romney (formerly liberal of the day) had illegals working on his estate the day after going after Guilliani for presiding over a sanctuary city. How funny is that? Let's face it, the Republicans choices for President are a friggin laughingstock.

They both support Bush's aggressive wars (illegal), his spying on Americans, and they're both backed by Rupert Murdoch.

"It is vital to the national security interests of the United States that the Iranian government not be allowed to prevail in its proxy war against us in Iraq," said Lieberman. "This amendment makes it clear - both to our enemies and our friends - that the United States will not retreat in the face of Iranian terrorism."

In Congressional testimony before the House and Senate earlier this month, General David Petraeus, the commander of Multi-National Forces-Iraq, stated that, "it is increasingly apparent to both collation and Iraqi leaders that Iran, through the use of Iranian Republican Guard Corps Qods Force, seeks to turn the Shi'a militia extremists into a Hezbollah-like force to serve its interests and fight a proxy war against the Iraqi state and coalition forces in Iraq."

United States Ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker stated in the same hearing: "Iran plays a harmful role in Iraq. While claiming to support Iraq in its transition, Iran has actively undermined it by providing lethal capabilities to the enemies of the Iraqi state."

U.S. Senators Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Norm Coleman (R-Minn.), Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.), John Ensign (R-Nev.), Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), and John Thune (R-N.D.) are also co-sponsors of the amendment.

Here's KYL-LIEBERMAN bill for ALL of you to read. Everybody talk about the said, how many knows what's in that bill?

=======

Kyl-Lieberman Measure Calls for Designation of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps as Terrorist Organization

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Senate today adopted a measure authored by U.S. Senators Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.) and Joe Lieberman (ID-Conn.) that calls on the U.S. State Department to designate the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization. The measure was adopted as an amendment to the Defense Authorization bill by a vote of 76 to 22.

The measure comes on the heels of mounting evidence that through proxy organizations, Iran is waging a proxy war against the United States in Iraq, providing weapons, training, funding, and direction to radical Shi'a militias who are responsible in turn for the murder of hundreds of American soldiers. Also today, in response to concern that the measure was a possible declaration of war, the amendment was modified to clarify its intent.

"Our military leaders, diplomats, and intelligence reports say that there is clear evidence Iran is exerting negative influence in Iraq," said Kyl. "I believe that the Senate's adoption of this measure sends a message to Iran that the U.S. will not tolerate any interference to progress in Iraq. It is now incumbent upon the State Department to add the Iranian Revolutionary Guard to the list of terrorist organizations."

It is so funny to see the highly experienced Hillary, who is suppose to know how to fight the Republicans and win, completly fall apart because she is losing in Iowa, dropping in New Hampshire, and nationally.

This woman and her campaign are in a PANIC. Attacking Obama based on a kindegarten essay? OH PLEASE. Talk about "gotcha" politics. I HAVE NEVER HEARD ANYTHING SO REDICULOUS IN ALL MY YEARS FROM ANY CANDIDATE OF ANY PARTY.

How did Hillary get that essay anyway? Is that the worst she's found out with all her investigators?

Is Karl Rove now working for Hillary Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton. Sure sounds like it.

Desperation is ugly.

Hillary is far from being in trouble. My guess is she's losing soft support that was with her for name recognition reasons, and what she may be left with is a very sound foundation of hard support that is very unlikely to change. She's still the odds on favorite to win the nomination, though Obama is closing the gap and Edwards is viable if he can win Iowa.

Giuliani however has to be nervous. Unlike Hillary, Giuliani is a big underdog in both Iowa and New Hampshire. I really think Huckabee and Romney split Iowa and NH and it becomes a two way race. If Giuliani has to wait until SC to get a big victory it will probably be to late.

Good!

Remember that just two months ago, 76 Senators accepted Bush's war-mongering approach to Iran when they voted for the Kyl-Lieberman resolution - legislation that many people think gives Bush the authorization to start yet another war with Iran. And now we find out that Bush was trying (yet again) to start a war based on a lie.

Hillary was once again one of these dupes. That's twice she's voted for war based on bullshit erm faulty intelligence.

I use to work in political poll taking for a professional survey research center for many years. And i question and doubt the popularity/beauty contest of who's ahead and who's not in the presidential race is a 'true' baromoter of America's electorate.

Why? Because the 'formula' that is used in gathering the numbers of interviewed subjects is inheritantly flawed. Not all National Polls are conducted this way, but alot of the 'mainstream media polls' are.

When was the last time you were asked your opinion of who your favorite candidate is for president of the United States? I, for one, haven't been called on the phone or from the mail, or on the Internet this year or the last three presidential election cycles. I'm registered to vote, and i actively vote regularly and sometimes volunteer for a candidate for office. I'm easily available from a multiple of sources. Do you have that experience, too?

I know for a fact that the same people are asked their opinions in these elections over and over again, and some of these colected opinions even have referral contact numbers. I don't believe these polls are very 'scientific' at all, but are politically motivated by the 'investor' behind these poll results.

Does the testy Giuliani know about shrinkage?

The housey Hillary, quick in the kitchen, but can she handle her dirty laundry? ... "Bill, Honey, I shrunk the ..."

Yep, as the top dogs shoot their wads into the approaching omega point, they've lost their alpha.

Obama, however, unstained by Hillary's mudslinging, launders dirt clothed as political discourse. Obama hasn't shrunk -- he's a show-er and a grower.
