Giuliani: "It Wouldn't Quite Be Fair To Say September 11, Like, Made My Career"

Although former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani frequently gets ribbed by his opponents as nothing more than the guy who happened to be the mayor of New York City when 9/11 struck, he rejected that idea in an interview slated to air on C-SPAN tonight.

Giuliani conceded that Sept. 11 and his leadership in response to that crisis "fits" into the arc of his career but said "it wouldn't quite be fair to say September 11, like, made my career," Giuliani told C-SPAN's Steve Scully. "I've had a very varied career and I've done a lot of things."
