A day after the Hillary campaign hit the Obama camp for bullying voters in nasty phone calls, the Hillary crew has just acknowledged that an Iowa county chair volunteering for the campaign passed along the now-notorious email that smears Obama as a Muslim by repeating the false claim that he attended a madrassa as a child.

The Hillary campaign confirms that they are asking the county chair to step down from the campaign.

What is really sad is she would never have admitted it if she knew the newspapers would not print the story. As her competition narrow the lead she has, Hillary is making some mistakes that is making her situation worse. This doesn't good and gives the appearance she cannot lead and keep her people in line. She clearly doesn't have the attention to detail of her husband

Considering all the shenanigans that have come to pass in recent elections, and those that have already occured in this one, it's quite understandable why most would be angered by such behavior against any candidate.

Unfortunately, every campaign is susceptible to the improper behavior of overzealous individuals. One only needs to read the over-the-top comments on this site from some of the ardent supporters of one campaign or another to witness how they are unknowingly damaging their candidate of choice. Sometimes the comments are so out of line, I question whether these individuals are actual supporters of the candidate they claim to be supporting.

Here is further evidence against Obama! His spouse actively lobbied in favor of Arab control over our ports. After receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars in speaking fees from the United Arab Emirates! O wait, My mistake. That was Mrs. Clinton's Spouse.

Aha! ....

The content of this email MUST be the 'big secret information' that HRC's campaign had on Obama. THIS must be what Bob Novak's double-secret agent source was referring to. ;)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Campaign season is starting to get real ugly.
Now .... let's wait for the ISP's of the email address' generating these email chains are traced.
My guess: The ISP's of the generating email address' will tie directly back to HRC's campaign --- sending this chain out to thousands upon thousands of recipient email address' daily. Just as with phone-bank solicitations, the emails go out in massive bulk to both, targeted email address' of residents in OH, NH and other early states.
When the evidence/results of the ISP trace is made public HRC's official campaign will denounce it and refute knowledge of it in advance -- just like this time and the volunteers will take the hit.....
Any takers on a bet on this?
It's ok for the county chair to start spreading rumours but one or two overzeolous Obama volunteers pushing their candidate is push polling. Ya right. Sometimes, I think divine intervention is at hand in this campaign. Because every dirty trick Hillary unleashes blows back immediately on her. Yesterday, someone associated with her campaign called Obama "uppity" and now this.
I believe the upper reaches of the campaign, including the candidate, were behind this.
It fits with clinton's character and her idea of campaigning. She is using the Rove playbook and is not above going after fellow democrats in the most slimy ways.
HRC has done nothing to make me think otherwise.
Hillary and hubby are such comics. "We never meant to hurt anyone, it was all our staff's doing".
I sure hope Hillary is not a "win at any cost" candidate. I hope she truly wants what is best for the country and the bad vibes are coming from an over zealous campaign worker...
I don't see what the big deal is. The article doesn't say Hillary's campaign STARTED the rumor, it simply said that someone in her campaign at the county-freaking-level passed it along. If it came from HillaryClinton.com, they've got an issue with email protocols, but otherwise the volunteer is allowed to do what he/she wants with his/her own resources in his/her own time.
The Obama-ites are just going to have to get over it. The Muslim thing is going to dog him to the November 08 elections, maybe past there if he makes it that far. Big deal...some morons will believe anything and you can't do anything about that. No one with two or more dendrites either believes it or gives a crap.
The nasty reactions from the Obama folks on here certainly don't support him as a uniter, not by a long shot.
There's bona-fide room for a question along
these lines, here, if you read about the whole
religion-in-politics thing in depth, well,
did the guy go to school in a madrassa, what
are his beliefs, is there potentially a connection between his nomination as a candidate
for office and the illegal immigration problem
that his state seems to be having, what's the
REAL agenda being forwarded here, who IS standing behind that curtain, and what kind of
'fun' do they have in mind if their candidate
gets elected? We've seen what 20 years of
ignorance and apathy can do for america,
the middle east mess is on the news daily
if not hourly, indeed, Mr. Obama, what's
on the menu, there? The same can be asked
of Billary, and of ANYbody wanting the job.
Maintenance of Democracyer means having
a well-informed public that actively participates in the vetting of candidates,
and the rejection of pandidates(at least in
my view) who are trying to propel themselves
forward based on how much moolah they get
from various special interests, for the
simple reason that royalism doesn't cut the
mustard, here. Speaking OF royalty, the reason
for the controversy regarding muslims and
islam is that the main country where that
religion is centered is called 'Saudi Arabia',
and the form of government there is called
'monarchy', meaning 'one guy in charge'.
We don't need a monarch/monarchette, king
or queen to speak frankly and bluntly,
and aspiring royalists claiming to be part
of EITHER party should be rejected on the spot.
The only two people that've become prominent
so far in the running for office that I've
seen that put the Constitution at the forefront
of their political ambitions are Paul and
Kucinich. That document, Bush's 'goddamn piece
of paper', needs to be maintained at the
forefront, quite simply because it embodies not only our history as a country, but our founding principles as well, from which there's demonstrably been quite a bit of deviation as of late.Let's have constitutional government in
OUR country, instead of run-amok globalism.
ANOTHER CONVERSATION BETWEEN HILLARY & BILL:
Hillary: Look, Obama is surging in Iowa. I've got to stop him.
Bill: How are you going to do that?
Hillary: Well, planting questions to make me look sharper than I am didn't work, so I think I might go back to Obama's days in Kindergarten. Tell voters about the essays he wrote.
Bill: Bad idea.
Hillary: No!! Its a freakin' good idea! Because if he wrote a paper opposing Bert and Ernie, or an essay scheming to steal Cookie Monster's Look, if he wrote a paper criticizing Big Bird, that could seriously hurt him with the Poultry industry.
Bill: You're serious?
Hillary: Yes! We already have some gay supporters on The Huffington Post consistently bringing up the McClurkin appearance for Obama but refusing to bring up my ties with homophobes. That's good. One notorious gay poster just attacks me for Kyl-Lieberman or other bills. This poster refuses to attack me for my homophobic ties, but he always zeros in on Obama. That kind of hypocrisy can only work in my favor!
Bill: Huh?
Hillary: And we have some people-
Bill: Hold up! That won't be enough Hillary.
Hillary: Why not?
Bill: Because word is, one of our prominent supporters in IOWA passed along the vile, disgusting, false, sophomoric, xenophobic smear emails that claim Obama is a muslim. In fact, on the Huffinton right now, there is one poster with the word "Sensible" in his logon name, who constantly and immaturely refers to Obama as "Barack Hussein". This is all cut from the same cloth. And it is xenophobic and racist. Obama's middle name is "arabic" not "muslim". There are muslims named Bill and Hillary and there are christians named Hussein and Mohammed. In fact, there is a link that pretty much disproves this "Obama is a muslim" crap. Here it is right here: http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/muslim.asp
Hillary: So what are you telling me?
Bill: You're in big trouble! I told you last year that Obama was unstoppable. BARACK-TV on barackobama.com is smoldering! He's the freakin' man!
