Mike Huckabee appeared on CNN to explain why he was caught by reporters Tuesday when asked about the newly released National Intelligence Estimate report on nuclear weapons in Iran. Huckabee had told reporters he was unaware of the new report. Huckabee explained to Wolf Blitzer that he had been too busy on the campaign trail to be briefed about the intelligence estimate. Later, during "The Situation Room," one CNN commentator suggested this was a sign he was not quite ready for the "top tier."
CNN pundit Jack Cafferty countered by arguing that this particular Huckabee story was a non-event. "You got to give him a pass on this," he said.

Cafferty was one of the few bright spots at CNN these days--my God man--you folks in the press have largely given a pass to Bush and his crew since day one----ya gonna be asleep at the wheel again??

Nooo--Huckabee does not deserve a pass on one of the most important issues of the day!!!!

A pox upon your house CNN!!

Problem there Huckster, if you cannot multitask such as campaign and read or listen to the news, then how can you possibly president? Afterall you cannot focus on just one thing as president we all know how that turns out, we have had a 8 year example of single mindedness in the whitehouse.

Don't worry, Huck. You'll have a lot more time to learn about current events... soon!

Why should the press give Huckabee a pass here, they sure as heck wouldn't have given Obama a pass!

The new ESTIMATE is questionable at best.
One of the three authors, as recently as 4 months ago gave a 180 degree different analysis (term used lightly).
The fish you had for dinner last night had the same "No Fear" attitude about the hook that landed him floppin on the deck.
Wake Up!

Mr. Huckabee: It is most understandable you cannot know the "breaking news" the minute it comes out, but don't you have a staff to keep you updated? If this is a sign of your leadership qualities, it reflects very poorly on you.

"The Most Trusted Name In News" thinks we should not challenge someone running for President who is too busy to know about the biggest news story out there? Wow, with a press like that we might end up being lied into war and economic ruin. Oh, wait... .
