Ellen Jenna Bush

Jenna Bush appeared on the Ellen show, taped yesterday but airing today. Ellen surprised her with a phone and a request for Jenna to call her parents, just to prove she can. The President and First Lady both yukked it up with the daytime host.

Why doesn't Ellen have her call an army recruiter? Now that'd be worth while tuning in for.

Ellen Degeneres is a Bush-lover and a scab.

That's too bad.

I won't be watching her show anymore.

Boy, Bush really brings out the worst in the population!
I don't like him eiher! BUT, it doesn't follow that his daughter is like him! What hell she has been through if she has different values.........
ARE YOU EXACTLY LIKE YOUR PARENTS? I'm about 180o from my Mother!
Am I the only one who noticed her twisting her skirt nervously between her fingers? Her Father is a very abusive man!
"Be the change you want to see..............."

i was ellen's show audience once. we had a ball. saw gwen stefani, kirsty alley, wanda sykes. i was a fan.

but now all ellen is to me is a scab. she's a member of the WGA and yet she chose to cross the picket line against her fellow union members.

no matter how positive a role model she may be she is still a scab at heart.

this is not worthy of being called news...
who gives a flying fuck about her or her daddy.
Ask him some real questions, such as..."daddy, are you going to be a dumb fuck all your life?
Or: Daddy, you really fucked up on the Iran deal, you almost started another war the same way you did in Iraq, or is that still the plan?
common daddy, tell me, you can tell me, I'm a Bush, ya know, above the law and all...

I saw this sement this afternoon. With my Republican grandmother. My evangelical Republican grandmother. It popped up on her Yahoo! news account as I was trying to show her how to delete emails...yeah, she's a little old and a lot of old-fashioned.
And when she saw Ellen talking to that idiot in the White House, the first thing she said was, "Now how can he go talking to that girl and then say the awful things he says about those people?"
"That girl," I guess, was Ellen, and "those people" were gays and lesbians.
I don't really like Ellen's show, don't get the appeal, but I do know that LGBT people need someone like her to appeal to octogenarian Midwesterners and soccer moms. It's just the way it is. As I see it, every time she talks to a neo-Con like that, she's pointing out their hypocrisy to the middle class, middle America people whom I suspect make up most of her audience. It's subversive, and it isn't revolutionary, but it might also be effective.

Ellen DeGeneres loves George Bush!

Excuse me while I throw up.

Yeah, they can "yuck it up" with Ellen in one breath, and in the other, deny her and millions of other LGBT's their civil rights.

But some of the comments here do make one wonder how anyone can go through life allowing a celebrity's politics be the deciding factor if they have talent.

The show of objectivity has been canceled.

Case in point, Ellen is on the shit list because somehow she's has been transformed into a Republican by the mere booking of one of her guests.

Harmless ... but stuff like that would not happen unless planned beforehand. But that's okay.

Face it folks, every guest on every talk show knows what they're going to be asked.

She's just a kid folks, or now a very young woman. She was asked to call her dad. She's never hut anyone, she's never done anything bad to anyone.

Her biggest crime, per liberalmania, is that she tried to buy a drink in Austin while underage and a student at U.T. Now, I ask you, which of you Huff-O-Matics out there has never, ever, ever either bought, or consumed an alcoholic beverage befor you were legal to do so? Anyone? Yah, that's what I thought.

...of course, that's were not waiting for that phone call.

Aren't we about done watching the eclipse, ya'll? And, haven't we figured out thunder and lightening aren't caused by the gods threatening us?

No matter what side of the fence ya'll sit on, if you think that wasn't scripted and they were waiting for that phone call, I've got a bridge to sell ya in Brooklyn.

I'm not a Bush fan in the least. Never voted for him -- don't like him or his policies.

But, folks, really! What happened to having a sense of humor? Why can't we treat people like humans. Why can't they have a little "schtick" with father and daughter?

This has nothing to do with Iraq, Iran, or politics. It's called fun.

If America loses it's sense of humor, we've lost something that can help keep us focused on what's human.

it makes me laugh when I read comments that people are now taking ellen off their lists or now have no respect for her.
ellen is no revolutionary trying to better the lives of all gay people. she has one agenda, to better her life. the reason she first proclaimed that she was gay is that the ratings on her show were going in the tank. she felt that it would help ressurect her carrer and unfortunately she was right. there's enough fools walking thestreets of America to believe her.
