Chicago Sun-Times:

Demand for tickets to see Oprah Winfrey appear with White House hopeful Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) in South Carolina on Sunday is so high that the campaign moved the event to an 80,250-seat football stadium.

The Obama team and is doing away with tickets because of the strong demand and switching the event to the Williams-Brice Stadium, the home to the University of South Carolina Gamecocks. This was the biggest venue the campaign could find in Columbia.

Hey Obama...Think BIG PICTURE. How 'bout Pay Per View !

Reading these posts, I'm deeply concerned, that
we are primed to be manipulated "big time"!
The big "O" MoJo will be on and it will be the
buzz. The Republicans will be thrilled at the
web that being woven, while they are still in
relative candidate disaray. We need to focus
on issues "not" the horserace. Our candidates
are stronger on issues, there are differences
among them but, at least they have policy po-
sitions, not so, with most the Repubs. If the
tens of tousands do show up for Obama what will
they know of policy matters prior to offering
their signed pledge to vote or caucas for him?
Beware the MSM! Think independently.

As much as I have enjoyed Oprah over the years,
I was a bit "put off" by her admission that she has not voted for years. Truly she is one of the most influential people in the country,
can "hawk" almost anything thru her many out-
lets; one certainly would want her backing. But, the idea of the attendees being "required"
to pledge that they will caucus or vote for
Obama this early does not sit well with me.
He delivers a fine speech, talks of "new politics" and practices them with the sharp
elbows of a scrapy Chicago pol. There's alot
of policy-ability unknown about Sen. Obama.
His "present" votes and inadequate answers are
not enough. It great to have a "fresh face"
doesn't mean that it is the one to be POTUS now. I'm a vetern, multiracial and a woman. I
do know there no one on the other side that I
could vote for. We need to reclaim the White House with a strong majority in both houses in Congress. In order to do that, we're going to
have to come together to win and support "all
out" the nominee!

A majority of US citizen elected Bush for a second run. What make you think that a majority of the people are capable to make the right decision this time?

Obama appeals to a lot of people. He is young, dynamic and certainly is displaying an image of change.

However, US is in a very difficult situation. Two wars are going on, the international image is pretty bad, our economy is down - those who think the opposite should travel around the world and look at what is going on and strong countries have strong currency, not weak one - our society is in disarray and live in fear.

Somebody who has very little experience of international diplomacy, very little experience with dealing with congress and is still looking for his words, hesitating, when answering questions should not be elected president.

We need somebody who knows all about dealing with congress, who has a strong report with foreign leaders and is already well respected in the international community, somebody who already learned from the past mistakes and knows what works and what doesn't in our society and is ready to take charge on the first day.

Whoever the nominee is he/she has to have this qualities.

Oprah is consistently rated the world's most influential woman. She's smart and she has a big heart.

Let's listen to what she has to say, rather than the fact that she's saying it.

Are Oprah's writers represented by the WGA? What residuals do they get from re-runs? or from Internet clips?

Obama urged students in Iowa to flood the Caucuses: http://www.suntimes.com/news/hunter/684086,CST-NWS-hunter06.article

That will ensure a victory in Iowa, and build momentum for New Hampshire...

I find it interesting the racism of libs. Of course they have fun with it with Condi and Judge Thomas but its even more amusing when they not so subtley use it against a Dem black man.

Oprah, cannot influence my vote !!!
However, if SHE were running for pres. she would probably have my vote !!!

She is very wise , but that DOES NOT MEAN OBAMA is ready to run the country !!!

I think she's only backing him because he's BLACK !!!!
