Ron Paul Blimp

Politico.com:

Look!

Up in the sky: It's a bird. It's a plane. It's ... Ron Paul?

If a whimsical publicity stunt goes as planned, a blimp hyping the long-shot Republican presidential campaign of the Texas congressman will launch next week.

The Ron Paul blimp is set to fly from North Carolina, over Washington, New York and Boston, before heading to New Hampshire, where the Jan. 8 primary offers the iconic libertarian perhaps his best chance of translating his zealous Internet support into votes.

Ron Paul's campaign had NOTHING to do with this Blimp endeavor. The idea for the blimp was started by Ron Paul supporters, on Ron Paul Meetup Groups which are totally grassroots and NOT supported, directed or connected with the official campaign

Go to Meetup.com and check out these groups to see what I am talking about.

On December 16, 2007 there will be ANOTHER Ron Paul fund raising and awareness raising endeavor called TeaParty 07. this was started by grassroots supporters in Santa Monica CA, and has now spread all over the country, with simultaneous efforts going on in Boston, San Francisco and many other places.

Again, started NOT by the Ron Paul campaign, but by volunteer grass root supporters

Do you get the idea? There are now almost 2,000 Ron Paul Meetups with almost 100,000 members and we are going to raise OVER $10,000,000 (Yes 10 MILLION) in one day..and again, the official campaign is TOTALLY uninvolved, except for putting the money into Ron Paul's account to spend as he sees fit.

I keep wondering when the MSM and Huffington Post, and some others are going to start acknowledging Ron Paul as the front runner of the Republican Party. Are they going to wait until January 21, 2009, the day after Inauguration Day??

"bury the FEC in paperwork for the cost of a stamp"

O yes...let's punish the under paid/ overworked civil servants who will have to work overtime/see their families less/etc...while giving no extra work to the people who actually has an impact on making the FEC rules.

Great moralistic plan

Well, with that kind of publicity he will be sure to capture the little kid vote.

Ron Paul must be channeling our forefathers. He understands what is wrong - that we have allowed the Constitution to be trampled for almost 100 years.

He is as extreme as Jefferson, Paine and Franklin were way back when. Extreme came in through the back door in 1913 and once again with BushCo.

He is causing millions of Americans to once again be proud of this country. And the guy can speak at any time on any political subject and make total sense every time.

Giving America to its citizens does seem somewhat radical I suppose - we are so used to being corporate sheep.

Go Ron Paul.

So Ron Paul, eh?
Let's see, He's against reproductive freedom
He's against the separation of church and state.
In fact he practically endorses a theocracy.
And he's supposed to be a libertarian?
If Ayn Rand were alive, she'd be spinning in her grave.

The blimp has a zero carbon footprint. He captured the hot air blowing from the other candidates.

I like Dennis Kucinich because he wants basically the same things as Ron Paul. Both of these candidates are worth considering because the rest is just more of the same and no thank you, we had had enough. We have been lied to for 50 years e.g. fixing the education problem LOL and you are still falling for it.
We need radical change and both candidates are the best equipped for a CHANGE!

Whenever I hear his name, because of how similiar it sounds, I just can't help but think 'Rupaul' ... It makes me giggle everytime.

My measly contributions go to Kucinich so his voice may be heard. But my vote goes to Ron Paul in the Republican primary. There is a ground-swell of support for Paul. If the Paul revolution is successful it will end fascism in this county and restore freedom and the rule of law. The blimp is a great idea and will be an even greater reality.

" It is not enough to question Mr. Greenspan, Americans should question why we have a Central Bank at all... " Ron Paul 2005. THAT'S the great thing about Ron Paul.
He has read Washington & Jefferson. He understands George Washington's warning in his Farwell Address to the Nation against the folly of " Foreign Entanglements"
and Thomas Jefferson's total opposition to a Central Bank. It is the Global Banking Cartel spearheaded by the Bank of Internation Settlements, the Bank of England, various European Banking Houses and the Federal Reserve that seek to enslave, to support the Corporate, Pharmaceutical, and Chemical companies that Historically support Fascism. There are REASONS Bush keeps appointing Wolfowitz even though he was disgraced at the World Bank. The World Bank was started by Nazi supporters Eugene Meyer and John McCloy, who, working closely with I.G. Farben created a scheme to dominate American through the control of currency. One of the founders of the Federal Reserve Bank was Paul Warburg, whose brother Max Warburg worked for I.G. Farben and later became Hitler's banker. YOU figure it out. Paul understands that the endless printing of fiat currency and taking the U.S. off the Gold Standard is the heart of the problem, THAT'S why the Republicans and Democrats are trying to ignore him. He is NOT a Nazi. He is a classic American. Personally, I do not adhere to any current political philosophy. I am an artist and generally support Dennis Kucinich, Universal Health Care, and Peace. None the less Ron Paul is bringing to light issues to which others are oblivious. I am looking forward to seeing Ron Paul's
" Fed Zepplin " flying across the spacious skies.
