This week, President Bush sent a personal letter to North Korea's leader, Kim Jong-il, asking the dictator to dismantle a nuclear reactor and disclose his country's nuclear programs. The letter was the first direct communication between Bush and the man he has publicly called a "tyrant" and a "pygmy."
The letter comes just days after Bush insisted that Iran come clean about their nuclear intentions, despite the release of a National Intelligence Estimate that claims Iran halted its nuclear arms program years ago. It's one thing to keep tabs on the spread of nuclear weapons across the globe, but all these missives from the White House indicate that maybe our president is getting a little paranoid.
