Ron Paul Blimp Takes Campaign To New Heights

Ron Paul supporter are hiring a blimp to fly from Washington, DC, to Boston, and then over New Hampshire. And they are doing it through a for-profit media company, so it's not subject to campaign finance laws. The website cycles through donor names publicly to give people credit for giving, which is radically transparent, and is backed by former FEC Commissioner Brad Smith, whose aim is to gut campaign finance laws by opening the loophole of funneling money through for-profit media companies.

Paul has by far the most innovative support network of any candidate this cycle. They are techno-utopians, young guys, ardent libertarians,e tc. and they don't care about the fact that he has long ties to the white supremacist world. In other words, it's everyone who was annoying in college.

Still, Ron Paul blimp is pretty damned creative, and it shows the hold that constitutional language can have in driving a populist message.

Gad you militant socialist need to get a clue or maybe get back in the USSR.

What's wrong with Freedom and Individual Liberty? Democracy without it is nothing more than Mob Rules. Being different and new thinking moves us forward.

I certainly don't defend the corprorate fascist we have now but socialism cannot carry a candle to true Freedom.

Obama understands this as does Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich. The rest are pure sleeze..

Those that believe that the corrupt policy buying structures that allow corporations to have their interests override that of the people's and the nation's are being a little too pessimistic, these structures can be dismantled as will their founding institutions.

Ron Paul will see the end of one of these, most corrupt institution on this planet, the Federal Reserve, anyone not cognizant of the nation-decimating power of this institution need only view the zeitgeist film, or the moneymasters film which reviews its history.

Campaign finance law CAN be changed, so can the performance of our media outlets with but a few astutely worded laws. Fair play time for both sides of an issue, the denial of corporate charters for news outlets which misrepresent facts or just plain lie, these laws are easily written. With just a couple simple little changes, yes, politics and our understanding of the world around us can all improve.

no Prez of the US can "un-corrupt" our gov. bc the big-money, their cronies & their propaganda machine run the show. This big-money oligarchy will never give up its control. AND, there will never be a super-majority in congress willing to take it away from them. The dem leaders, repugs, neocons & big money have figured out how to control the gov. and the voting public with all their propaganda, spin, money & lies. The proof of this is Vietnam War-II (Iraq). The oligarchy learned from Vietnam how to keep the folks from rising up against their imperialistic wars (no conscription, no taxes, plenty of spin, fear, propaganda & lies). So as I consider my protest vote, Ron Paul's plan to dismantle the gov. looks better & better. I have to say that, rather than let the big-money oligarchy control our government-empire for the purpose of exploiting the world by hook, or crook, or war for resources & profits, I would rather let Ron Paul dismantle the government-empire so that the big-money oligarchy won't have anything to control. As usual in america, it's always about the lesser of the evils.

ANYBODY with even half a brain would run screaming away from Ron Paul if they knew his position on most issues. A sign of the "intelligence" of Ron Paul supporters is reflected in the group of them that has gathering money for the Ron Paul for President Blimp!

A blimp is indeed the appropriate image for Ron Paul - whose ideas generally are a throw-back to the 18th and 19th centuries. His correct and admirable stand against the DickNBush phony-war-on-terror, the lie-of-a-war-in-Iraq and the most un-American legislation ever passed, the so-called "Patriot" Act, doesn't correct the deficiency in most of his other, totally unrealistic and unworkable, ideas.

In addition to the blimp, how about a Model-T, some spats, outhouses, vacuum tube radios, and candles, instead of light bulbs, as other symbols for Paul?

Grover Cleveland would be proud of this man!

Only Fools Want To Continue The Welfare Warfare State Of Empire. History has shown that this Philosophy is self destructive.

We are currently at the tipping point. Either we will turn from this path or suffer the same fate as all other empires of history.

I don't care if he was steeped in cracker-dom,
main thing is, he's pushing for reforms that'll
hopefully eventually make some sort of dent
in that debt, end the war, and so forth.
