This is a beautiful American family and a sincere, heartfelt Christmas greeting.

Stuff like this brings out the HuffPo hate big time.

Why is prejudice against Mormons socially acceptable? Explain this to me. Every other comment here is derogatory.

The reactions here verify that Romney is right: Freedom without religion is NO freedom. Chaos and cheap shots may be protected by the 1st Amendment, but they are a false freedom that builds nothing in society.

Please write Nancy Pelosi and suggest that she get behind the plan to encourage one child families just like in China.

P.S. This post is way too religious for the HuffPost, what with all those Mormons and the Christmas and all.

The HuffPost should avoid posts like this and stay true to Democratic ideals:

What a squishy looking bunch of people. But I will admit that the blond lady on the left is welcome to come and discuss polygamy with me anytime she'd like!

Give this guy a break. He is just showing you that he is family man. Or would you prefer the Clinton family of 3?

Your pick really. So the up side he has a nice clean cut and happy looking family. The down side, is this picture pushing conformity too much?

I got the sense that no one had a personal expression. The clothing is bland and unison. How about some personal expression? Is this allowed in the Romney family?

Just black, white and blue. What I can't figure out is how he came to be the governor of Mass. That is quite an accomplishment for a guy with a conservative slant in one of the most liberal states in the country. How did he convince those voters?

All those males and not a vet in the crowd. Correct me if I'm wrong, Glenn Beck.

You know, I've got a problem with many of the Democrats, but I think the Republicans are imploding.

This is the family who really really believe

God make the children. It is not husband/wife's

fault. God came during the night and put a seed

inside the wife's womb. Alleluia! God chose

them.

I call this as ignorance.

Pls. pardon my English 2nd language.

I went to college in Utah...loved the region, great schools (healthy minds) and great athletic programs (healthy bodies) but I did not appreciate the heavy Mormon sales pitch. If you were not Mormon, you were "non." Like any religion they suspend facts and information and focus on beliefs, their beliefs alone.

It's time for Congress to get back in the game and suspend the religious welfare program that Bush set up (to buy votes and to push particular messages). It's also time for the majority of Americans to think more expansively and fairly, for the benefit of all people, just just particular belief groups.

Religion has it's place but not running the country. Too often religion has been at the center of conflict, war, intolerance, etc. The US should not be led by a bunch of missionaries for any religion, forcing their beliefs on everyone else here and around the world.

I am utterly disguted by the injection of religion into politics. Both Romney and Huckabee are absolutely frightening to me. This family photo only helps to underline the undeniable. Romney can flip flop on his positions but he can't erase what this photo symbolizes. Furthermore, as a young man he traveled to Paris to proselytize for the Mormons. The sight of the "converters" gives me the creeps. The fact polls show most constituents would not vote for an atheist candidate is scariest of all. We are truly regressing. Will we be burning heretics again?
