Huckabee Wanted Aids Quarantine

AP:

Mike Huckabee once advocated isolating AIDS patients from the general public, opposed increased federal funding in the search for a cure and said homosexuality could "pose a dangerous public health risk."

As a candidate for a U.S. Senate seat in 1992, Huckabee answered 229 questions submitted to him by The Associated Press. Besides a quarantine, Huckabee suggested that Hollywood celebrities fund AIDS research from their own pockets, rather than federal health agencies.

Maybe we should just call him "suckabee" when we're making fun of him here because he truly does suck as a human being.

Also, because he does suck, he is perfect for others who suck and I predict he will be the rethuglican nominee.

Please know that he is NOT representative of the majority of Arkansans. We are laughing right along with the rest of you and in complete awe and wonder that he is the topic of serious conversation. Frankly, it is bizarre and makes me wonder about the whole system that he has gotten this far.

Also in the wide-ranging AP questionnaire in 1992, Huckabee said, "I feel homosexuality is an aberrant, unnatural, and sinful lifestyle, and we now know it can pose a dangerous public health risk."
Funny, I feel the same way about your lifestyle, Huckabee. You can change, though. I may hate your sin, but I still love the sinner. You don't have to live such a destructive lifestyle. Your pretense at religiosity is just a way of encoding your hatred of anyone who doesn't fit into your twisted little world. If you were honest (and I realize that honesty is very hard for people like you), you might admit that you're just a bigot and a fascist.

I had proposed phone rings and i-pods going off in a crowd at Huckabee events playing "Dueling Banjoes"...now I think a sardonic "That's What friends Are For",,,fits this pig and his hate-mongering followers MUCH BETTER!

"I MIGHT have worded it differently"Maybe he couldve said "I'd round them all up and kill them" Or he couldve said I was wrong then, and I shouldnt have said that, Who knows, cause he never said how he should have worded it. If he doesnt become president, maybe he could work on The View.

Repigs threaten that if Clinton is the nominee, their voters will swarm to stop her. If Huckabee is the RNC nominee, Democrats will EACH vote twice, to stop this twisted little NAZI!

Uggghhh! This guy is a Fing IDIOT!

"When Huckabee wrote his answers in 1992, it was common knowledge that AIDS could not be spread by casual contact."

Apparently, Huckabee NEVER reads! The letters from Dumond's victims and their families and AIDS information.

Somebody as ignorant as Huckabee needs to be isolated from the rest of us.

Huckabee

1. Is a Facist
2. Has no morals
3. Has no values
4. Has no brain
5. Has no ideas
6. Has no tolerance
7. Has no compassion

In short Huckabee is as far from Christian as you can get. He's a sick POS.

After Iowa, there will be only McCain and Paul for Republicans to support. As he becomes more well known to the casual observer, Huckabee's Christian Talibanism will be seen to appeal to only a small percentage of even the most superstitious Republicans.

This morning's Los Angeles Times has the Huckabee rapist parole story on the front page as its second story (above the fold) just below the story about how Hollywood negotiations had broken down:

'Parole officials: Huckabee pushed rapist's release'
http://www.latimes.com/news/printedition/front/la-na-huckabee8dec08,0,6605757,full.story

Unfortunately, there was no mention of the anti-Clinton angle to the story--and no mention of Huffington Post--only that Pastor Jay D. Cole and then Governor Huckabee believed DuMond was born-again innocent, and pushed the parole board to release him. At least the story (such as it is) is showing up in the Corporate Media.
