Each year television viewers emerge in January from the traditional December blizzard of holiday specials and college football bowl games seeking new comforts from their favorite comedies and dramas, shows like "Grey's Anatomy," "Two and a Half Men" and "House."

Come January, however, they are more likely to be left to joust with the real-life "American Gladiators."

THE ONLY WAY I WATCH TV NOW IS IF I AM READING SOMETHING OR TRYING TO FALL ASLEEP AND THERE ARE VERY FEW EXCEPTIONS: OLBERMANN, BONES, HOUSE, CHUCK, WOMENS MURDER CLUB, CSI'S ALL OF THEM AND LAW AND ORDER CI.

Maybe this will be the begining of the end of these "reality" shows. I refused to watch them from the begining.

Maybe now that they will be flooding the market with them, people will start tuning them out and watch the History Channel or Discovery.

The networks think the people will just go along with whatever crap they show you. If you like good shows like LOST or HEROES or 24 then boycott the studios TV and DVD products and shows until they settle this writers strike and bring the good shows back.
