Perino: I Didn't Know What The Cuban Missile Crisis Was

Appearing on National Public Radio's light-hearted quiz show "Wait, Wait . . . Don't Tell Me," which aired over the weekend, Perino got into the spirit of things and told a story about herself that she had previously shared only in private: During a White House briefing, a reporter referred to the Cuban Missile Crisis -- and she didn't know what it was.

Perino is a MILF, which is probably how she got the job in the first place. There's no way that somebody dizty enough to not be aware of the Cuban Missile Crisis should be working in the higher echelons of the White House.

She is the epitome of using her body to get a job.

What she had to say was as dumb as what Sherry said on the view the other day. About all she did was to show her ignorance to the whole world. And expose the Bush Administration for what it is a bunch of ignorant hacks. But, then again, her boss has never been interested in history either. Someone should ask him (Bush) if he knows what the Cuban Missile Crisis was? I would bet he didn't know until she made her public gaff.

Tony Snow was a dirtbag, but at least he was smart and aware of things, but Perino is just plain stupid....I'm talking George Bush type stupid.

It's really fun to watch Perino stammer and stutter like a clueless moron, whenever questions about Iran or CIA torture tapes, or Iraq come up...yet another luaghable member of the Bush administration. Keep it up George.

The cuban missile crisis was one of the few occasions in the last 45 years where the world had a good chance to be blown apart. Even at a german high school this is taught in history class.

Anyway someone in her position needs to know "the basic stuff". She could watch 13 days with Kevin Costner. An alright movie that explains at least a little of what was going on then.

I don't know if I'm more amazed that she didn't know what the Cuban Missile Crisis was, or that she actually publically admitted this, at least while still in her capacity as White House press secretary. She's no Pierre Sallinger.
