Sean Penn's Speech Interrupted By College Republican

Sean Penn delivered a speech at San Francisco State University, the text of which is here. Towards the end of the speech the president of the College Republicans stood up, faced the audience and held a few protest signs. He was then confronted by a Kucinich supporter.

Somehow I suspect you won't see the praise offered to code pink or others that disrupt events of those with 'non-progressive ideas' offered to this young man. I don't think we'll hear any wacky theories about abridgement of free speach either.

For the record he deserves an escort out just as other disrupters do.

Haha congrats to everyone on their poise. Why was the Kucinich supporter removed and not the other guy? Oh well, at least the confrontation wasn't nasty - it had an air of humor about it.

Why wasn't this "college Republican" over in Iraq, supporting his president ? It's easy to disrupt Sean Penn, that doesn't take any courage at all. He probably would go, but he has ingrown toenails. But he supports the troops !
