Us Weekly has put together a lovely slideshow of Woody Harrelson and travel-buddy Owen Wilson in Miami. The focus is Owen's moves on a girl, but a close observation shows a bag of grass next to Woody. Harrelson is a longtime advocate of hemp, and even narrated a documentary called Grass.

Ganja would make a first class legal drug, far better and safer than tobacco.
However, no direct research on cannabis is allowed in America. No scientist can acquire it or grow it for study. All information about its effects are third hand from accident statistics etc.
The Brits have developed medications based upon it, as have the Canadians but stupid America is in the grip of the DEA and religious nutjobs so we'll never get a piece of that business.

Conversely, a supposedly sober mass murderer lives now in OUR White House.

Woody's advocation of Hemp goes way beyond "getting high". Hemp is one of those miracle" plants that can be used in a multitude of ways..fibers, clean energy, medicinal, and hemp butter makes awesome chocolate cookies. Got to say old Woody is a helluva good man.
I think smoking weed should be mandatory. Every household should be required to have at least 2 healthy plants growing. The country would be so much better off. Just think of all the uptight, repressed republican fundies stoned! I know hundreds of people, and probably 95% of them smoke herb regularly.
