Romney Huckabee Fight
Republican Mitt Romney retorted to questions about his faith by surging rival Mike Huckabee on Wednesday, declaring that "attacking someone's religion is really going too far."

In an article to be published Sunday in The New York Times, Huckabee, an ordained Southern Baptist minister, asks, "Don't Mormons believe that Jesus and the devil are brothers?"

I dont' have a problem with discussing religion. It is funny to watch the fireworks, though.

To witness the Republican presidential primary race as religious warfare is scary-VERY SCARY INDEED!

May God spare me from these intolerant fundamentalist politicians and from those who dare to destroy the principles upon which this formerlly great nation was founded-one of which WAS the separation of church from state!

Are these guys running for the US presidency or just the GOP nomination because that's as far as this bickering and neo-con pandering will get them?

"In August of 1998, Huckabee was one of 131 signatories to a full page USA Today Ad which declared: "I affirm the statement on the family issued by the 1998 Southern Baptist Convention." What was in the family statement from the SBC? "A wife is to submit herself graciously to the servant leadership of her husband even as the church willingly submits to the headship of Christ.""

I can't even get a girl to submit to buying me a glass of beer.

Once again we see that the GOP has no top-tier candidate(s) in the 2008 presidential race.

Pelosi buys $16K worth of flowers
By Mike Soraghan
December 12, 2007

"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has spent $16,000 on flowers since taking office, one reason why she spent 63 percent more in her high-profile inaugural year than her low-key predecessor did last year.

Pelosi (D-Calif.) spent a little more than $3 million in the first nine months of 2007, records show, compared to the $1.8 million Rep. Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.) spent during the same period in 2006."

'Ata girl Nanna, your showin em what real change is all about.
Oh, what ever happened to that "will of the people" mandate stuff?

Is this what the Dems meant by positive change and accountability?

I bet they were real pretty flowers, did you send them to those troops you were gonna bring home or to those detainees you ok'd the waterboarding of??

Kucinich gets booted from the debate and this is the big headline today? There's not one mention of Kucinich being banned or the fact that Alan Keys gets to participate in the Republican debate. What a bunch of bullsh*t as we slide further into fascism. Even if you don't like Kucinich, if you want the debate to be fair, you'll contact the desmoinesregister and tell them to let him participate:

All Mitt can do is weakly complain about these attacks, and this won't help him at all.

Evangelicals consider Morman beliefs as heresy and Huckleberry Hound is ready to howl 24/7 about it.

Alright then, In that case Mitt why didn't you say Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints once?

If only people on T.v. new how to ask decent follow up questions.

Well our trolls must either be

Mourning the death of their party.

or

Looking for another candidate.

That was really pathetic, the only good bits were.

Global warming; using liberal talking points.

Education; holding liberal MA up as an example.

Otherwise it was we will give your tax money away to the military to protect our scared little souls.

Wonderful.
