Obama Mocks Clinton

Democratic candidates gathered in Iowa today for their final debate before the January caucuses. The overall feeling of the debate was cordial considering the recent heightened spats between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton's respective campaigns.

The atmosphere tensed up briefly when Obama was asked what new foreign policies he could offer with a staff of so many ex-Clinton advisers.

Read the exchange from AP:

Hillary Clinton laughed out loud, and said with a smile on her face, "I'm looking forward to hearing that."

Obama, also smiling, waited for the laughter to die down before saying, "Hillary, I'm looking forward to you advising me as well."

Look at you fools swimming in your own lies and shit. Your dollar is still chasing the Peso and your crooked mortgage industry is collapsing like a house of cards. You bail out your banks, but not the people who were conned in this scam. More proof of your use of Chinese water torture leads to more silence from you fat lazy bastards. You sheep won't protest your government until they come and rip the cheeseburgers out of your fat hands. To read the blatant lies and falsehoods about the coronation of Ms. Clinton is to see the stupidity of the average American on display in all of its splendor. Your Nazi nation is in a freefall and the whole world sees it even though you don't. We are laughing at you.

Hillary "The Cackler" Clinton got put in her place. Even with a loaded question from someone who supports her she manages to come off looking like an ass with her phony, over the top cackle.

Obama vs. Huckabuck??? Hmmmmm. I can't call it. You might get a third party or even a fourth. Could be fun - if a bit horrifying.

Ouch. Provocative exchange, and proves not only Hillary -- but Obama obviously too -- extremely quick on their feet.

The exchange in other words:

Hillary: Huh. Funny. Yeah, do tell how you exactly your presidency would bring this big 'change' you keep offering. You'd be surrounded by a team of advisors from the first Clinton administration; Doesn't sound like something new, where/how a change from the past?

Barack: It's time to hand the conch over the next generation. And that change will be via me offering a fresh and new, post baby boomer, healing and uniting perspective. But not to worry, I do respect and aknowledge the strength and knowledge of those who surrounded around the previous Demorcratic (Bill Clinton) administration -- I will look to them for advice, and/or as key advisors -- and I include you and your great job and experience as First Lady in that thought.

Why all the smiles? Is the war over? Are the troops coming home?!

Too busy debating to get that job done, aren't they?

Any of these would be preferable to Julie-Annie, Mitt Mary Lou Romney, Fred Eyeore Thompson or Mick Huckelberry.

Hillary is coming apart, you can see it in her "Crazy" eyes & hear it in her cackle. I understand why people want a lady to run our country.. let's face it the men have screwed a lot up.. but she is not the one.

Sharp comeback, Mr. Obama! I admire your wit!

BUT.

The question goes straight to the heart of a very critical matter. You and Clinton share a lot of the same foreign policy advice? Could that explain why neither you nor Clinton (nor Edwards) can see a way for America to leave Iraq sooner than SIX YEARS from now?

That lack of vision is why none of the three of you will earn my vote.

I have no idea why the trolls here claim that Obama is some sort of liberal darling. Any candidate who can't take a firm stance against this war has no progressive credibility.

I also predict that the Iowa caucus will include many Republicans and independents who will go to the caucus to vote for Barack Obama and oppose Hillary Clinton.

The laws allow all IA voters to choose the caucus they wish. The reality is that they want Obama - the man that can give the GOP the victory out of the jaws of defeat.

There is no doubt that the Clinton duo are political animals. There is no doubt that they engender either love or hate from the citizenry. No one tolerates them. For example, Ms. Huffington is an unabashed opponent of Ms. Clinton and her candidacy.

Yes, I believe that the GOP wants Barack Hussein Obama to win the DLC nomination. The reason for Rudy Guiliani was a belief that Hillary and Bill Clinton are the DLC contenders.

Barack Hussein Obama - a very black man with a white mother who married two Muslim men outside her faith, culture and race. In the American south, this is tantamount to racial treason by the very base of that dixiecrat vote.

It is my belief that any WASP could defeat Obama for the presidency if he had the nomination. They could even risk the nomination of a Huckabee or a Mormon Romney.

The Corporate elitists have already told the DLC that they would support the Clinton run with the caveat that they win the DLC nod.

The recession in 2008 will still provide Hillary Clinton with the cover she needs to become the first woman president in history.

I always believed that it would take a strong man to become the first First Gentleman of the nation. There is no one who could make that happen as well as two-term former DLC President William Jefferson Clinton. Those who are afraid to say yes to a woman will remember that Bill will also return to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

The last thing Obama needs is bad advice from HRC. She was wrong on Iraq and Iran. Do you really want her giving advice on foreign policy?

A non-clever retort by a 1 year politician to a brilliant soon to be President Hillary Clinton.
Senator Clinton is quick minded - does not have to stall for her brain to function whether participating in a debate or otherwise. So many other nations have selected bright and brilliant Female Leaders - perhaps because the good old boy club has repeatedly failed in leadership. It is time for change not change for the sake of change but because leadership change is crucial. My vote is unquestionably for Senator Clinton. Her expertise and experience is far ahead of any other candidate period of any party or wannabe President. It takes quite an ego to pretend to be presidential material. If the population of the US wants to re-direct the future then VOTE FOR SENATOR CLINTON

I'm reminded of the Tarver-Jones fight.

After the ref had given his instructions, he asked the fighters: "Any questions?"

To which Tarver piped up: "Yeah, I got one. Did you bring your excuses, Roy?"

But why did they bring back Anne Robinson to moderate?
