O'Reilly Declares Victory Over The "Taliban-Like Oppression" Of Christmas

On "The O'Reilly Factor" last night, Bill O'Reilly — who boasts that he's leading the fight against the secular progressive "War On Christmas" (and who one columnist dubbed as leading the "crusaders for creches" ) — declared victory over the "Taliban-like oppression" of Christmas.

Because Bill O'Reilly saved Christmas, "all over the country, the sights and sounds of Christmas are on display. Few department stores are telling employees not to say, 'Merry Christmas.'"

And to those of you who think religion has no place in the public square, Christmas Crusader O'Reilly has seven words for you: "Joseph Stalin, Mao, and Fidel salute you!"

The emasculated O'Reilly is irrelevent­...His show used to be pathetically funny. I'd watch to laugh at him as his guests would hit him with facts and he'd explode, get all blotchy and switch their mics off when it got too much for him. Now O'Reilly Factor just sad. I've read interviews with him and, despite his wealth, he really is a sad, whiny, insecure dolt. Poor bastard. He's getting what he deserves..­.

Christmas is America's Sacredly found rich heritage given to us by our forefathers. Paul Revere's father came over to Boston, Massachusetts becaue he was religiously oppressed as a Hueguenot in France. Remember the Pilgrims too.

William Penn of Pennsylvania came to America because the King of England owed his father a debt and wrote off this debt by giving him land in America. Yes, William Penn encountered the Indians, but with a PEACE PIPE, in the circle of Indians sold trinkets,n­ecklaces,r­ocks to the Indians for land with Indians approval. He asked the Indians to promise not to harm Christians.

Roger Williams who came from England and who pioneered for Religious Rights which culminated in our Constitution of Religious Rights bought land from the Indians. Because he held humane policies, the people loved Roger Williams. Roger Williams gave us our first full Religious Freedom in Providence, Rhode Island. Thus we must always hold loftily high our remembrance of Great Christians who founded America with God's help. We must remember our Religious heritage in honoring Christmas.

They can never do away with Christmas because Christmas was founded on famous men who courageously upheld Religion. There was St. Francis of Assisi who started the Nativity Cradle and originated carols with his singing carols around the cradle. This began Christmas carols. Martin Luther was in the forest and noticed how beautiful the stars shone on the trees and brought home a tree to show his friends. Thus the Christmas Tree came about holds this legend.
