White House Christmas Card

This morning on "The View," Barbara Walters displayed the Christmas card she recently received from the White House. She said it was the most religious White House Christmas card in her memory. The card included explicit religious references beyond just a bible verse.

The super-Christian card features a verse from Nehemiah (Old Testament, it should be noted):

You alone are the LORD.
You made the heavens, even the highest heavens,
and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it,
the seas and all that is in them.
You give life to everything,
and the multitudes of heaven worship you.
NEHEMIAH 9:6 (NIV)

But whereas in previous years the President and the First Lady opted for messages of happiness, goodwill, and peace, this year featured the following closer:

May the joy of all creation fill your heart this blessed season 2007.

It is then signed by both George and Laura Bush.

The card was financed by the Republican National Committee.

TO: President George W. Bush and Mrs. Bush
December 14, 2007

How splendid is the Lord's Creation! Only God can create men and thus being the originator of creation and create in anyway he wants. Consequently the miraculous Birth of Jesus Christ of a Virgin.

Yes, it is true about myths where similar floods and other figures of Christ parallel our Christmas story, but the earth came first and the prophecies came first did they not and these myths are just trying imitations of Jesus and and the beautiful Star of Bethlehem prophesied thousands of years ago.

I quit evil, corrupt jobs, and discovered few food, job resources in U.S., and I prayed for the Lord's testimony to Sacredly show others His Word is true since needing evidence to prove these scarce food, job resources I had no money. Thus, I found $5.00 several times and could get the evidence to show people of scarce food, job resources in U.S. Praise and Glorify the Lord for His Sacred Testimony is true. Others' testimonies are true too. Prophecies are true. Witnesses are true. There is a record of Jesus existing. The Lord and Jesus are worthy to be praised. Pleae stop your bashing of Christians here and on the TV,radio, etc.

Let the Church Bells ring. Let the Church stand proudly before all. Let Joy ring throughout the meadows and shores of America.

Jesus who founded Christianity came to Save All sinners. Silent Night Holy Night. All is calm. All is bright. Let the Lights of Religious Rights shine over all peoples. Eva Hart Christian Army 62-70 670 Eddy St. Sfc 94109

she alone is the Lord.
Creepy, very creepy!

TO: Time for a Change December 14, 2007

I wanted to tell you that you surely did not read my post right on December 13, 2007. President Thomas Jefferson refers to the "People using their good sense" and doing away with evils." We are talking about cruel evils here." Apparently Pres. Thomas Jefferson along with Benjamin Franklin,I believe John Adams, etc who went to France to negotiate the Louisiana Purchase had the support of the people Pres. Jefferson mentions.

President Thomas Jefferson believed,"The majority will should prevail, but equally insitent that the Minority Rights be protected."

You surely missed reading correctly my post above.

This is President George W. Bush and Mrs. Bush's Christmas card and surely President Bush would never go to Iraq knowing he'd be caught of there being no WMD's. Even he protected our U.S. Soldiers by giving them chemical suits to wear when going to Iraq. Eva Hart Praise God's Creation. Silent Night. Holy Night. Jesus redeems ALL men. So should a Christmas card not be Christian?

Thomas Jefferson, while being the 3rd President (1801-1809), On March 23, 1801, Thomas Jefferson wrote from Washington, D.C. to Moses Robinson:

The Christian Religion, when divested of the rags in which they [the clergy] have enveloped it, and brought to the original purity and simplicity of its benevolent institutor, is a religion of all others most friendly to liberty, science, and the freest expansion of the human mind.

Thomas Jefferson, on April 21, 1803, wrote to Dr. Benjamin Rush, (also a signer of the Declaration of Independence):

My views... are the result of a life of inquiry and reflection, and very different from the anti-christian system imputed to me by those who know nothing of my opinions. To the corruptions of Christianity I am, indeed, opposed; but not to the genuine precepts of Jesus himself. I am a Christian in the only sense in which he wished any one to be; sincerely attached to his doctrines in preference to all others.

That isn't a statue. When Neo-Midas hugged one of the twins, she turned into a coprolite.

Bush never gets anything right. Christmas is the celebration of Jesus' birthday not Gods.

Actually I heard that their first choice was Ezekiel 25:17 ;)

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides with the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of charity and good will shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon those with great vengeance and with furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know that my name is the LORD when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

The most Un-Christian of Presidents, the most un-manly man ever, the purest form of evil I've ever seen and, quite possibly, the Anti-Christ himself - that's our George.

Thanks again Repubs, we really appreciate all you've done.

I've just realised that my earlier comment was no.666. I just wanted to say to any Christian fundamentalists on the site that this was entirely unintentional.
