And like, wow, Coopy is like you know, like so like artkulote, er like artikalite, um you know--like, he talks so like good and like cool! You know? Wow, like no wonder we like should like get like all like of our like news like from like this guy and like trust and like believe him. Plus he's so like hilarioussssssss!
Jesus, what a steaming pile of horseshit.
I don't give a sh*t abput this phoney encounter.
Conclusion he's dumber than dirt.
Whether Anderson's 40 or 50, I wouldn't mind looking as good as he does now.
Got news for you Anderson: YOU look 50.
I'm surprised it took Anderson so long to finally show his true colors. Journalist? Nahhh. Wanabe entertainer is all. I have no doubt, though, his act will be widely received as clever and amusing. Americans are so vapid.
Looks like Cooper is a little full of himself.
Cooper was very amusing. I don't watch TV if I can help it, but CNN liked it so much they replayed it several times late that night... as they replay everything ad nauseam while writers are on strike.
I thought Cooper's imitation was a scream, and hope some of those who emulate Britney, Paris, and others were tuned in to see what they look and sound like from a third party point of view.
"McEnroe stole my cab," was the end of it and the best part of all.
I think he's fine. Seems like a nice guy. Cares about New Orleans still when everyone else thinks it's old news. Now Glen Beck, well, he's just the worlds biggest douche who should be fired tonight and be accountable for spreading hate and lies.
Why does Kelly Ripa keep moving forward and back in her chair like a simulated sex act? It is not sexy, just disturbing. Anderson Cooper is boring and overexposed. Why do all newscasters now look like Barbie and Ken and think they are celebrities just because they can look good while reading a teleprompter?
That was hilarious!!! He didn;t the drunk girl impression so perfectly on point.
Hilarious. For those who hate Anderson Cooper, his show is a pure invention of the guys at the top at CNN as an attempt to compete for viewers. What he says on the air is pretty much scripted, and he's probably heavily discouraged from taking one side or the other of an issue. I'm not sure why people dislike him personally so much, aside from it being simple old fartery.
That said, I used to get off work during the early hours of the morning and watch his show (sometime around 3-4 am, it's a bit hazy) back before CNN decided to make him into a walking advertisement. Back then, it was too much of a hassle for CNN to write a script for someone with almost no viewership, so the guy was sometimes kinda entertaining and generally reasonably decent as a newscaster. You could tell he really wasn't working from a script, and that he full well knew that hardly anyone was listening, so he'd have some fun with it. When CNN decided to make him the face of the network, people suddenly only THEN began to take notice...but what you were really noticing was the script that was handed to the guy. They tried to make him into a reporter in some attempt to give him legitimacy...that's purely a CNN trick.
Unless it's Glenn Beck or Paula Zahn, hate CNN, not the newscaster. Now with Fox, it's a different story...they intentionally staff up with people who zealously defend the company line at the extreme cost of news accuracy.
A.C. 360 = Ass Clown 360
Regis & Kelly isn't a show I normally watch since Regis annoys me for some odd reason but I have tuned in a number of times when Cooper is guest hosting and I think he's adorable. His giggle (the most awkward laugh ever) cracks me up and he's always entertaining. He's an excellent match for Ripa and together, they make the show watchable for me.
Anderson Cooper is an intelligent, talented and well-rounded guy. Sure he can sub for Regis and then go right back to his own program and be SO serious and focused about the day's news that you forget all about his activities outside of 360. NBC's Brian Williams appeared on Saturday Night Live as an ACTOR and no one seemed to mind, so what if Anderson subs on this show every now and then.
Funny....Cooper seems to have NO humour on his show....I remember cringing when Bill Maher was on and Cooper was doing this strange, forced sounding laugh....reminded me of Rex Banner on The Simpsons "Well you all know what laughter sounds like"
He is so damn funny! Let's get him a late night talk show of his own, with Kelly as his sidekick. Could he be any cuter either? No.
Anderson has the most phenomenal D.N.A.-- Vanderbilt, deep South, and I believe a great-grandmother who was from South America-- wow!!
Suddenly, I like Anderson a lot more than I used to.
It's nice to see Anderson in a different venue than 360. I don't get the snarky remarks, unless one of the drunk girls is here posting.
Anderson Cooper was sent by CNN in September to cover the Nevada State Republican straw poll.
There he was, for almost two hours on location..
Plugging some candidates and ignoring others.
Barely noticing the ENORMUS amount of those same ignored candidates' supporters lurking in the careras back drop!
There he is at this straw poll, then at the end, HE FAILS TO MENTION WHO WON!
All this coverage and they did not even announce the winner!
How incredible these vile, media spinners truly are..
Anderson is a NY media whore that hangs out in gyms and bathhouses and collects unmentionables!
When using video clips use better equipment operated by experienced capable sound technicians or print what is said so we can see if it is funny, etc.
Anderson is so "typical"...age was what finally made him peeved
I was so surprised to find out the other day that mild-mannered, kind-eyed, Mona Lisa smiling Anderson Cooper is a shallow, snide, little bitch. There was a wise quote of some sort by Pat Sajak, put up on CNN, supposedly taken from Sajak's online blog. It was a good quote, I just forget how it went. Something about the silliness of celebrity endorsements. It was EXCELLENT, in fact. At the end of the piece, while I'm mulling how bright I think Sajak must be to come up with that, Anderson Cooper goes, "I didn't know Pat Sajak even had a blog."
Ummm...DUH. You bitch. Go get your streaked or something. Anderson, there are two kinds of people in the world. The people who turn on CNN before turning on E, and the kind who do the reverse of that.
You should be working at E. I'd never see you, then.
Anderson's a cutie.
Subbing for Regis Philbin?
Yikes
