Marie Osmond To Have Talk Show In '08?

There has yet to be an official announcement, but several outlets are reporting that a talk show hosted by Marie Osmond is in the works for 2008.

The New York Post reports that the show is slated for the Fall 2008 season, but does not cite any sources.

Starpulse.com reports that the name of the show is slated to be "The Marie Osmond Show," and will feature celebrity interviews.

Star Magazine speculates that Marie's first guest will be Larry King. It appears they're all friends again after Donny Osmond apologized about the Osmond family's outrage at King over his reporting that Marie's son, Michael, was entering rehab.

Wow! A show featuring celebrity interviews. More proof (as if the women on "The View" weren't proof enough) that there is an effort going on to dumb down the women of this country. Or at least an effort to keep the already-dumb-ones from ever having an intelligent thought.

Why all the hate for Marie?? Yeah, she yaks too much, but I appreciated her bravery at disclosing her post-partum depression years ago. I will always think that was a very helpful move. Does she need a show? I don't know, but no reason to hate on her for trying to have a career.
