Bill Clinton

Theatlantic.com:

In a hard-changing interview with Charlie Rose tonight, Bill Clinton said Americans who are prepared to choose someone with less experience, are prepared to "roll the dice" about the future of America. "It's less predictable, isn't it? When is the last time we elected a president based on one year of service before he's running?"

"What do you want to do -- whether you think it matters that, I mean, in theory, no experience matters," Clinton said. "In theory, we could find someone who is a gifted television commentators and let them run. They'd have only one year less experience in national politics..."

How gauche we have become as a society. Where 'news' really isn't really news. We consume every little nuance and turn it into a plot or a conspiracy.
It's really pretty sad when we could have it all ..and I don't mean in terms of material. Life is so rich and available to anyone who cares to tune into it ...
In general, America needs to step back and look at itself as a society..I'm not sure we would like what we see.
It's not hopeless...keep the faith.
Merry Christmas & happy holidays everyone.

Bill,

Here are your two scenarios. Either:

1) Obama or Edwards beat Hillary, or

2) Hillary cheats a win out of this one, causing Al Gore and Bloomberg to run on an Independent ticket. In which case she will get plummeted.

Which would you rather?

Dell Computer support just screwed me over again.
A Dell is like a TV set, They expect you to buy a new one, not upgrade anything.

Bill Clinton must think Iowans are stupid enough to fall for his crass reverse psychology.
You will note that Hillary was incapable of handling this mess on her own.

Bill and Hillary are scared of Obama. He is running a clean race and winning and they cannot understand why their dirty tricks are not working. Well this is not the 1990's. People can get information in a matter of seconds. This is why they will lose. Yeah she said now is the fun part. Yeah the American people are not laughing. Obama will get the last laugh. Not at Hillary and Bill, but at their dirty tricks. No weapon form against him shall Not prosper it will not work.

I'm waiting for Bill to comment on Barak's ethnicity.

"Hay, ah grew up in the South. They won't vote for a black man. That's not me sayin that, that's what the vast right-wing conspiracy will say. Ahm not low-balling ya either."

Where is Al Gore right now (I mean physically... is he in Tennessee?). Can we all - I mean ALL (minus the chimp's 24%, about 2.2 million of us) march on this location and camp there and protest until he runs please?

Please?

Joe is Right!

Americans have choices:

Joe Biden 35 years in the Senate
Clinton
Obama - no experience - casting dice

THIS WEEK THE NEWS IS: JOE BIDEN'S PLAN TO END THE WAR IN IRAQ PASSED THE HOUSE OF REPRESENATIVES AFTER PASSING THE SENATE IN OCTOBER WITH 75 VOTES (OBAMA WAS ONE OF TWO SENATORS WHO DIDN'T VOTE). THE BILL GOES TO BUSH TO EITHER SIGN OR VETO

WAY TO GO JOE BIDEN!!!!!!

JOE BIDEN IS ABOUT 'DEEDS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS' ON THE RIGHT PLACE ON IRAN, IRAQ, AND PAKISTAN. JOE BIDEN IS ON THE PHONE TALKING WITH ISREAL, PAKISTAN, IRAQ LEADERS, UN SECURITY COUNSEL MEMBERS, EUROPE'S LEADERS, JOE BIDEN IS A DOER - NOT A TALKER.

YOU WANT TALK - OBAMA'S YOUR PICK. YOU WANT ACTION - JOE BIDEN IS THE RIGHT ONE FOR PRESIDENT. HE HAS GOTTEN MORE LEGISTLATION PASSED IN HIS 35 YEARS THAN ANYONE IN CONGRESS OTHER THAN TED KENNEDY.

JOE BIDEN - ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS

When I looked at the interview, I found it interesting that while Bill claimed that electing Obama would be "rolling the dice," he spoke favorably of Edwards, and said that Richardson, Biden, and Dodd are all ready to be President.

This ties back to something I've said earlier: That the Democratic nomination comes down to a "Hillary vs. Not Hillary" contest, and that Hillary can only win if the "Not Hillary" voters remain fragmented.

If the Democratic nomination quickly becomes a two-candidate race, Hillary's in big trouble. And Obama is rapidly being viewed as the alternative to Hillary. The Clintonites' attempts to attack Barack Obama have largely backfired, so their strategy may be to pump up the rest of the field, and make Hillary appear to be the "inevitable" candidate despite only having a plurality of support.

If we don't like the result of Iowa caucus, can we kick them out of the Union?

Can we do with less corn?

Bill Clinton in 1992:

"I believe experience counts, but it's not everything...values, judgment, and the record that I have amassed in my state also should count for something..."
